Yes also Peyton stated if Archie would have told him to go to Mississippi he would've..

Peyton also said that, if his older brother had not developed that career-ending neck condition, the odds of him going to Ole Miss would have been much higher. If memory serves me correctly, the two of them played together one year in high school, where his brother was a wide receiver.

If Ole Miss wasn’t going on probation…..Peyton would have been in Oxford
Where has he ever said that? I'm not saying he hasn't, but I have never seen it. I have seen where he has said if Cooper wouldn't have gotten hurt, he would've went to Ole Miss; but, I have never seen him talk about probation, or seen him quoted on it.

Then what does?....because using 🦬💩 unaccountable, irresponsible self-centered excuses based on being in your early 20s sure as hell doesn't make you one, and ain't ever going to.

Edit: I didn't mean this to sound hateful towards you...I am just really sick of the "They're kids" excuse for these guys...I will buy that for free and soph age...but being young ain't an excuse for 20+ year olds.
No offense taken - I hear you and agree about the need for kids to take responsibility and be held accountable…just know that even at 21 I made some bad decisions and tried to avoid taking responsibility…no love lost from me when one of our players goes to the enemy but I’m going to try not to be hateful. A wise man I miss very much always told me two wrongs don’t make a right.

I appreciate you.

He hasn’t. Probation wouldn’t have mattered if Cooper had stayed healthy. And Eli wouldn’t have gone to Ole Miss (in spite of Ole Miss NOT being on probation by then) if Cut hadn’t gone there. Those were the two biggest factors: Cut and Cooper.

I always wonder how things would’ve been different if Cut hadn’t gone to Ole Miss in 1998. Tennessee gets Eli. Cut keeps the offense rolling. Maybe Fulmer gets a 2nd NC, retires, and hands the reigns to Cut, who keeps it rolling.
