I think those fans are ready to take next step. Vol losses in the tourney under Rick, if Im not mistaken, they were favored. And unfortunately they did run into some teams that got hot in March and went to F4.
3 seed Vols lost to 11 Loyola Chicago
2 seed Vols lost to 13 Purdue
5 seed Vols lost to 12 Oregon St.
3 seed Vols lost to 11 Michigan
4 seed Vols lost to 9 Florida Atlantic

Hopefully(wishful) this is the team that breaks through.

The Loyola game Kyle Alexander was out with injury.
The Purdue game got beat by a bad call .
The Oregon State game was CoVid year and team never meshed imo.
The Michigan game , honestly Tennessee didn't have an answer for the big guy.Dickinson

if we'd had Kyle Alexander I'm 100% convinced we would've made the Final Four that year. Sigh.

*Me and my sons played Monday afternoon. We have the plastic bucket style sleds and they're ok and fairly safe. I remembered I had bought an innertube style ring a few years back and we got it out. It was a lot faster and less controllable. Once we got the track packed, I managed to get out of the groove and hit the house at what felt like 20 MPH. The boys said I looked like Wile E Coyote when he swings into a cliff. I left a horizontal mark on the hardieplank 3' above the ground level. They said it looked like I hung on the house for about 2 seconds and they could have drawn a chalk outline around me. Somehow, I got "roadrash" through 3 layers of clothing and a bruise from my shoulder to my forearm (it's finally clearing up). Then my oldest son jumped on the innertube did a "reverse Gumby" move around the corner of the house and smashed our downspout. It really went downhill when we started trying to "redirect" each other away from the house. It was a great time but it hurt

It was an old Western Clipper sled from Western Auto years ago. It's one of those with steel rails. It won't go on soft snow.

For the soft snow we did the saucer behind the 4-wheeler.1000019283.gif

MLB Baseball Hall of Fame's Todd Helton directing a big scoring drive in a win for the Vols in Athens. Just watch the drive at 27:43. Helton surprises GA running and throwing. You also get to see Aaron Hayden and "Little Man" Stewart. And a brief shot (sad) of the injuried Jerry Colquitt in the press box. Helton's backup was a lil Freshman name Peyton. I bet he loves to tell that story. 27:43
