Well I be damned learn something new every day..

Tim Couch was committed to Tennessee before going to Kentucky..

His dad is the reason it didnt happen. He got up and left during an in-home with Fulmer and Cutcliffe, he was so disgusted. It caused a big rift between Couch and his dad...so much so, Couch ended up leaving home for awhile. His dad, named Elbert, HATED!!! Tennessee. Tim Couch only went to Kentucky because his dad wanted him to.

I can actually respect Elbert Couch for this. I can see myself doing the exact same thing if my kid wanted to go to Bama.
