I thought Merz was pretty strong in our game. Outside of that, I avoid Florida football unless it's clear they'll be thumped.

We sat in soft zone with DBs ten yards off the receivers. And he hit five yard passes all the way down the field all half. We didn’t adjust until the second half and he already had over 200 yards passing. That game really made me pissed at Banks.

Have not gone wrong at all. All the guys ahead of Nico have started 20-30mgames and Nico has started 1 Bowl game. .By the end of the season, he will be in contending with the best of them.

First…… I love Barnes and everything he is brought to our program…. That still doesn’t change that it is a tournament sport…. To me…. an Elite Eight is a great season and i want Barnes to advance to an EE or beyond…. I hate the thought process that we shouldn’t push for that bc we have had idiots running the college I love…. i want us to become like Kentucky/NC/Duke in basketball…. Alabama in football and so on. We have the administration to take us there. Go Vols!!!

Jonesborough is a tough one. City of is completely financially taxed. Literally 100% dependent on tax dollars from tourism. They, like many others cannot keep up with demand. Housing is an absolute issue. Other issue is Washington County, which wants all the dollars without bearing any responsibility.

That is relevant as Jonesborough real estate is in even higher demand than JC. Average home costs are closer to $300K, but there arent any available. Florida and CA have driven up cost of everything else, by building massive homes in the County.

I'm not sure what you're looking for, or your budget. Since there's nothing going on downtown JB. I'd recommend looking toward Telford.!The mountains back up to the Nolichucky. If you can find a nice parcel, or home there is plenty of acreage. Close enough to downtown JB, but far enough away from people and noise.

Other option would Strawberry Fields, but that is closer to Johnson City. Ridges is close by, but a bunch of pomposity resides. Hard pass.View attachment 613967
Also if you like beer, and food trucks. Depot Street is solid. Rocky's Pizza is good. Music on the square is fun.

Troyer’s is also a good place and they have food truck rallies once a month.

Its weird. It was a Tuesday & Wednesday of a January week when there is literally nothing happening in the news for the Vols and most sports in general. The topic produced 40+ pages of traffic when we'd generally just see 5-10 pages on days like that. . . plus it was a good, fun topic for most and drove engagement for a lot of members and entertainment for lurkers.

Maybe freak can make it like a holiday for 1 week every January. Call it Sallygiving, Sally Day Weekend or Avatarween. We just spend a couple days every year making goofy avatars for each other, . Maybe make some avatars to bet with during the season.

I absolutely despise Soccer...and it doesn't bother me at all to scroll right on by when others here that do love it want to converse with other VFLs about it.
