Sorry man. Seeing AI paint you as a a doppelganger of 'Beast from Xmen 1997,' isnt my idea of fun.

I mean you can lay a red herring about Tibetan ancestry, and cousin in NW Alberta who was a stand in for Slim Jim Ads.

I agree and didn't mean to imply the AI images not entertaining. I meant that there is a bunch of useless drivel posted on a daily basis, much less interesting than the AI images. @TheRain post interesting tweets about all kinds of thing unrelated to sports. I look forward to those tweets. I recall someone complaining about them. Seriously? Is it too much effort just to scroll on by?

I know what you meant. It's weird how people having a good time can trigger others, . People posting the things they're interested in or what's going on in their lives gives each user a personality, entertains us, gives us a connection, and brings this thread to life. It's why this particular thread is the best on the site.

Imagine how dead this thread would be if we only talked about recruiting news or even just strictly football stuff. Maybe we should do that for a week and see how it goes.

There in lies the rub. People in the know know they should check this thread daily for important content you can pickup no where else. Imagine that is 50% of traffic. Just people driving buy and seeing what was said. Now imagine that half that group starts complaining because their news feed is clogged with AI brain farts.

Thats not a rub, imo. If there was any news, we would be talking about it, not posting other stuff. Whenever there's big news, a player thread is bumped or this thread is talking a lot about it.

I know that and you know that, but for casual interlopers it is noise. Some noise is fine and It was left alone, but when the noise spreads it gets migrated. I used to fight it now i embrace it. They offer an amazing product for free. We are the content, but I am ok with the trade off.

I wont push my politics on my children. Ill give them the best information to arm themselves so that hopefully they'll think for themselves. Maybe by then there will be a viable independent.

I'm not sure I buy it. People wanting football news go to the football forum first. Big news is usually posted there immediately, even big recruiting news. Most new members who use this site dont find this thread until they've been a member for a while. The people who complained a little are members who've been here a loooong time and know how this thread generally works.
