Coming from the same people who tell me SCAR and UK are good at football, I'm less inclined to believe that opinion.
What does one have to do with the other? FAU and Loyola Chicago were both teams that beat Tennessee in the NCAA tournament and made it to the final four. FAU lost in the final four by one point. There is always luck involved in the NCAA tournament, but making a final four is an impressive accomplishment and it does not happen unless a team is talented. There is no shame in losing to those teams.

I still have mine...plastic joy

The opinion on talented teams is flawed.

I keep getting told the tournament is about luck, now it's about good teams.
Yall need to make up your minds which it is. Or is it just whichever justifies Barnes losing.

So, it's whichever excuse justify the upset. Got it.
You really gonna hold Rick Barnes to a standard that has yet to be achieved at the university in its history (making a final 4) and you think there needs to be a justification for why he hasn’t achieved it yet? Am I understanding this correctly?

Why is #9 Marquette a dog to unranked Villanova? Injuries maybe?

Edit: there are a few ranked dogs to unranked teams tonight, also #15 Texas Tech is an underdog to #25 TCU.

I believe matchups are biggest factor along with injuries.

If Kyle Alexander hadn't have been injured, Tennessee defeats Loyola and wins that bracket..
One could say that it was unlucky that Kyle Alexander was injured just like it was unlucky that Zeigler was injured. One could also say that the shot Loyola Chicago made to take the lead at the very end of the game was extremely lucky.
