Bad game for the VOLS tonight, especially ZZ and Aidoo. Knecht showed he can play well enough to win, even on an off night.

Hate to see the offensive woes rear their ugly head still, but not an awful loss.

Flat till the last three minutes-- plus Pat Adams. Knecht was off but still managed to do better then most and Awaka played well. I hate losing.

I didn't watch the game until the end. Was it all Dalton and 4 guys not named Dalton watching? Also, if JJJ is scoring 0 points last game and 2 this game, maybe he shouldn't be on the court..

This game doesn't mean crap...period. All teams have bad shooting nights..period. It will never make sense to you if you don't know basketball.

It's just the nature of the game. We have a good team, that will make the tourney..if we shoot well, we will win..if we have a night like this, we will lose.

And there is no making sense of it...we do not have a plethora of great shooters and scorers...but even the greatest shooting teams ever have had bad shooting nights...it's just basketball.

Not a good showing at all, but have to give the chicks credit, they're playing good ball now.

Did NCAA claim that we violated in other sports along with football? I can't imagine Rick Barnes violating anything. Maybe Knecht getting too much attention--or Tony V's baseball which always rubs people the wrong way.

Typical Barnes. We always have a game like this where we don’t show up. Officiating was hot garbage tonight, but the play was lazy all game long. Just adds salt to the already open wound of today.

Literally every team has these games.

Nobody is near undefeated this year. Which for top 5 teams, means they've all lost multiple games they "shouldn't have".

Get over it and suck it up. THIS IS BASKETBALL, football fans. Welcome to it.

No they are not..they were better barely on one of our absolute worst shooting nights.

People don't want to admit it, but it's been a theme for this team the last few years.
There have been several games where we moss bunny after bunny.

Should win, but many lose those as well.

It'll end up a Q1 loss. Not a bad one at least. It's the bad ones you get punished for. They have 3 losses all year.

It’s basketball, it happens.

And I know it’s not a bad metrics loss. But I hate losing home games with a D- performance when a C performance would likely get you across the finish line.

And I can still air my frustration at a team losing a game at home to a 13-point underdog on the same day we get news about a NCAA screw job. Doesn’t mean I understand basketball any less.

The attorney of the Tennessee-driven marketing agency Spyre Sports Group released a statement Tuesday night following news the NCAA is investigating the Volunteers for NIL violations.
