Recruiting Football Talk VII

We went to lowes a couple winters ago, after Christmas. They had all their live Christmas trees in the back, getting ready to dump them. They let us have a many as we wanted, so we filled up about 4 truckloads, 😂. Took them to Douglas lake and made a few crappie villages. Havent been back since, unfortunately. Marked them with GPS, but I dont have the locations. . . but I do remember where they are. . . so anyone with a boat, come pick me up, 😂
That's a really crappie thing to do.

I know it is going to be a Herculean task tonight, but beating Kentucky in Rupp would be nice after all the crap this fanbase has had to put up with this week. And it would make up for the South Carolina loss and then some.

We know the Rupparees aren’t going to let Kentucky lose two games in a row though.
I think if we play good d the odds are way in our favor. If we don’t, probably the opposite.

I honestly have no idea how good Campbell actually is. He got a lot of attention and hype for the game he blocked dude through the endzone, but I have no idea how well he actually graded out.

That said, Mincey is making himself out as a little bitch. I'm not one to talk horrible about former players, unless it's Toot, but Mincey keeps running his mouth, writing checks I don't believe his ass can keep. Bad-mouthing and taunting his former teammates is a dumb idea. They will remember, and they will whoop your ass.
💩heads like Mincey are why I am glad our coaches have been more selective than some here like when going after recruits from both HS and the Portal. I think at the time Mincey was brought in they had very little choice in being picky about character.

I'm glad that cancerous clod is gone...sadly..it didn't have to be this way.

True. But this is the best Kentucky offense we’ve faced in awhile, and the last Kentucky team with a good offense we faced in Rupp put 107 on us. I just think Kentucky losing on Wednesday was probably a bad thing for us. I’d rather they have come in learning nothing from a close win against Florida than locking in after a bad home loss.

I trust our defense more than our offense right now though. It needs to be a team effort if we want to win. It can’t just be Dalton.

I’m sure it resembles an Orange Jumpsuit with several number on the front

Couple items here.

When Methandy is a voice of reason, we are all ****ed.

You couldve asked me where Methandy was from and I wouldve guess Kingsport-Lynn Garden or Greeneville 60% of the time every time.

Methandy, if you read this why cant you apply this broadly to every situation in life?

Who cares honestly we’re just playing for seeding during the season not worth getting wrapped up in one sec game

Donde may be the only university chancellor to become an actual folk hero in modern times by just being a good chancellor (not from an external event). Errbody loves her. Besides, Sankey showed for us the last time and that was when we were admitting wrong doing. It's in his interest and the conference's interest to back us on this one. I think the announcement the SEC & B1G did earlier today planted a giant flag of support for us in the NCAAs HQ.
I sure hope you're right.

Andy shows up he'll probably get arrested on warrants.

I personally know the parents of one of our current athletes. One day before an away game, we met with other Vol fans for lunch.

Of course, we fans wanted to pay for their lunch. They refused, and in fact paid for our lunch, because they were so concerned about the rules. I assume that was based on guidance from the athletic department.
We get guidance frequently from UT
