Coach addressed it right after the game which seems to me that the crowd chanting that bothered him…. We were ranked 6 in the country and they weren’t even in the other receiving votes category…. They whipped us by 16 in a game that wasn’t ever close….. Seems like that would make us OVERRATED.

That logic would probably be true if they rated teams based on the outcome of only one game. You act like better teams never lose to lesser teams.

And it doesn't change the fact that it's stupid fan logic. Maybe you're a defeatist and prefer the logic "We suck and just proved you do too" to the logic "We just beat a really good team, so maybe we're underrated."

Either way... OK.

Jennings may not re-sign with them but they're teams with plenty of cap room who would need him..

Heck, they traded the best WR in the NFL to Miami, and it's not slowed them down.

Don't care about either SB team except for JJ and TS. They showed up as grown men and made us proud.

But this was obvious to me. SF lost the game, specifically lost due to Shanahan and play calls. Design the O to handle the Chiefs' D playmakers. They had won with D all season. That would be to double team Chris Jones on all plays to wear him down and avoid their two secondary studs. He didn't. How many times do you need to throw to an injured, ineffective Deebo to realize he ain't the guy? Kittle was hurt and ineffective as well. Use them as decoys and throw to the other guys. There should have been at least 10 targets at JJ, there wasn't. McCaffrey them until he passes out. They didn't.

Gives me hope for the Titans. Callahan knows this stuff. If Ran can provide him the 49ers type players, watch out.
