I'm not worried at all. I haven't really heard of him, but he has a decent performance resume.

I'm putting trust in Heupel's & AD White's culture. I've seen a lot of people perform far past expectations simply because the work environment was excellent compared to previous jobs.

He also has some good talent to work with, not to mention the elite facilities and support staff. I expect he'll have the best results of his career while here.

so sounds like this guy was like 4-5th on the list and doesn't look like he has recruiting experience at a high level...........................yay. This isn't moving the needle IMO. While others in the SEC are upgrading, we are... well, just filling a spot it seems. Guess we'll see...
I would like for you to confirm that he was 4th or 5th on the list. How on earth do you know? Also, he was recruiting for Louisville and Cincinnati lmao. Just the Tennessee brand alone will help him recruit at a high level. People said the same exact thing about Mack when he came from Rice lol. By the way Cincinnati was top 5 in rushing last year. Clearly the guy can coach and develop

Any outside names being mentioned?
I quit tos, but have not seen much mentioned in their pods versus with Mack it was mentioned a lot we were going outside. One clue to tos is they follow the script. Official mouthpiece of the Tennessee Vols.

RBs are gonna want to play in this offense with Nico, Merk, MacIntyre, Heupel, regardless of the position coach. If he can be a good coach, he probably doesn't need to be an above average recruiter to get elite talent here. An avg recruiter at Cincinnati may look like an elite recruiter under these circumstances here.

Agreed. Seems like a great replacement for Mack. Like, there are tons of elite coaches that are at small schools right now lol.

The Oregon guy and someone else. They were being talked up bigly. I'm sure this guy will be fine.

Oregon guy has only been a RB coach at Oregon for 2 years and then WKU for 1 season. Before that he held off-field roles.

Sims has been a RB coach for over a decade and Cincy’s rushing attack put up better numbers than Oregon’s.

Don’t think in this instance that Locklyn was a bigger name except for the fact he’s at Oregon vs Cincy.

I think one way Spyre could get more money is to partner with one of the subscription services. Even if access was reduced access free access to a weekly update email would be useful return for the investment.

But being a great producer at a lower tier for a decade also says something. It does not have to be a negative, but it isn't necessarily a slam dunk either. AP and Hubbs were vocal that they wanted a guy with NIL experience. Being at OR provides that being at Cincy, not so much.

99.1 the Sports Animal has Jimmy Hyams and John Pennington on today. They were talking about teams winning % at home versus away. He threw out the stat that the VOLS basketball team have a home record of 26-3 over the past 2 seasons. I wanted to call in and say "Guess what the common denominator was in those 3 losses?"......
View attachment 621178It's not a coincidence if it happens every time he shows up. It's intentional.
There is no way that it is a coincidence that we play like 💩 literally every time that assaho calls our game.

People that say "It's our fault we didn't _______ in that game, it's nothing to do with Pat Adams"...are freaking idiots.

I've been thinking on this all year...I really think our players know exactly what he is, and that he IS going to **** them over..and thus they go into the game jacked up in the head....and so they play tight and tentative on both ends of the floor.

There is no dang way it is just a coincidence...I guarantee you all that we lose the next game we play that he on the floor.

It will literally shock the hell out of me if we win with him on the game.
