"Maybe we should start with the chair itself, four metal legs riveted to a piece of molded plastic, which was red, in keeping with the school’s color scheme. The “bench” for the Indiana basketball team was no bench at all. It was an assemblage of these plastic chairs. And this particular chair had the misfortune of belonging to the team’s combustible coach."

"It started off on a linear path that afternoon, sliding across the floor of the Assembly Hall court. But then, like a stone skipped on an Indiana creek, it darted abruptly and began curling toward the section underneath the basket, occupied by fans with physical disabilities."

"Indiana would go on to lose the game to Purdue that day, 72-63. It was one of 14 defeats the Hoosiers would have that season. But no one, of course, recalls the score or the game’s impact on the Big Ten standings—the conference being both “big” and “ten” back then."

Owners and staff are both great. I have legitimately thought about making a trip to Knoxville just to eat there.

What are you getting for your main? I was always partial to their Mongolian Beef and General Tso’s.
I like szechuan chicken. I also like Mandarin chicken and good old fashioned diced chicken with hot pepper. I have probably tried everything over the years. A lot of times, I will just stop by and get a large hot and sour soup and an eggroll. I do not think I have ever been without getting hot and sour soup.

It's kittens. . . seems they'd be more expensive as kittens. There's is a lot of them for $700

I seriously don't know much about them. Just relaying what they told me. Seems they did mention a lot of shady breeders. IDK

They said it was cheaper for them to get their cats from Hungary and pay for the airfare and cat sitter(a lady seriously flies over with them) than it was to get one here.

$700 isn't too far off from the low end in chart below though.

You should just get an Ashera. LOL o_O Gonna have to look those up.

I went down a wormhole one day looking at the Savannah cats from this list. Man, they are too cool!

Check this out:

The Most Expensive Cat Breeds to Buy
  • Ashera $75,000 to $125,000.
  • Peterbald $1,700 to $3,000.
  • Savannah $25,000.
  • Bengal $2,000 to $5,000.
  • Persian $3,000.
  • Sphynx $900 to $1,200.
  • California Spangled $800 to $3,000.
  • Maine Coon $1,000 to $3,500.

I didnt realize how big they were when I first saw them. There's a person selling them for $700. . . i'd probably just settle for a stray roaming the neighborhood if I were in the market, 😂

If you feed a roaming homeless cat once you have a cat

In the 1980 Olympic Hockey game vs the Russians the US team only took 10 shots making 4 of them. The Russians took 39. In the last 30 years of the NHL only once has a team won a game when taking 10 or fewer shots and being out shot by at least 25. Unreal. 🏒🏒🇺🇸🇺🇸
That win was a very aptly described as a “miracle.” I don’t think even contemporary viewers realized how monumental of an upset that was.

A true "Miracle on Ice."
That stat makes it even more impressive................
