Do any of you feel like clicking "unsubscribe" on certain junk mail is a scam? You scroll to the bottom of the email and click the "unsubscribe" link and it takes you to a page where you unsubscribe. I kinda feel like they use this to determine if your email is active and, instead of removing you from the email list, they pump out more junk mail,. . . since my paranoia kicked in I've just been blocking the sender instead

I block. It's easier.Do any of you feel like clicking "unsubscribe" on certain junk mail is a scam? I only unsubscribe if it's a genuine company sending the email. If it's legit spam, I just don't interact with it at all. Legit businesses have to include functioning unsubscribe links in their emails, but spammers don't care. So in that case, they use any interaction with the email, including just opening it, as a green light to send more spam and even sell your email to other spammers.Do any of you feel like clicking "unsubscribe" on certain junk mail is a scam? I do think that is the case with some. I've clicked unsubscribe on a few that, for some reason, keep showing up each day. Heck, I've even blocked them.Do any of you feel like clicking "unsubscribe" on certain junk mail is a scam? I didn't think about them seeing it as "read" as an interaction. I've just been opening it so I can block them. I'm certain they have at least 2.5 million different email addresses they spam from, so I'm not sure I'm fighting a winning battle. I don't think there is another way to block them on outlook though.I only unsubscribe if it's a genuine company sending the email. If it's legit spam, I just don't interact with it at all. This is in reference to knecht….. getting more and more people talking about him.
I really expected more from JJJ and Viscovi being long-time veterans that wanted to come back. But yesterday, JJJ did have a great defensive effort. The shame is that JJJ has not flourished more with DK drawing so much attention. Instead Aidoo has been the relief valve more often. Not crying or complaining just an observation.
If the email was sent via Constant Constant, then it will definitely unsubscribe your email address. They're legit...I use Constant Contact and they do a lot to make sure users aren't spamming folks. I had to get on the phone with a support person a few years back because they locked our account after we sent an email out to over 50k people and 20 of them reported it as spam instead of just unsubscribing.Do any of you feel like clicking "unsubscribe" on certain junk mail is a scam? I'm surprised Vesco hasn't done a little more, I thought DK would really open the floor up for him.The shame is that JJJ has not flourished more with DK drawing so much attention. Instead Aidoo has been the relief valve more often. Not crying or complaining just an observation.
They can embed pixels in emails that track interaction. So even if you just open it for a split second and do nothing else, it signals to the sender that your email address is real and active.I didn't think about them seeing it as "read" as an interaction. One negative about DK is he needs bailed out on defense sometimes and it goes unnoticed the work that SV and JJJ do on the defensive end. They have been up and down offensively, but JJJ and Vescovi have both adapted to the team needs to do the dirty work of defense, rebounding, loose balls and passing. JJJ has been a hoss under the boards all season. People forget he was recruited as a G and possible PG. VFLs.
The reason Peyton lost is the same reason DK will probably lose. The media based in the north and dominated by yankees (Associated Press) gets to make the decision. If Peyton Manning can 'lose' the Heisman after being the prohibitive favorite all season to a player who played big in his team's big games, then why can't Knecht win the national player of the year over Zach Edey?
