We made the Sweet 16 last year. Elite 8 is a must this year with Z and DK, otherwise it’s a massive disappointment. No excuses, we’ve got the players to do it, so get it done Rick. Shed the Regular Season Rick persona.

It is not linear relationship or a direct proportion. More awards/better stats don't directly correlate with a similar increase in the team's performance in the tournament. It increases the probability but there is no direct line relationship.
You may very well have the best car on the track but there are other factors in winning the race. It could come down to a bad pitstop, getting caught in a wreck, or throwing a rod. I believe we have the setup, we just need a few things to go our way.

Love Rick Barnes but the Regular Season Rick persona will either be shed or cemented with this tournament. He’s got the players for a Final 4 run, it’s time to get it done. Tired of the excuses

Believe it or not wearing your jammies inside out and throwing ice in the toilet doesn't make it snow. There are so many variables and the margin for error is so small that high expectations are not enough to win in March Madness. You can do everything right and still not get it done.
