Why do you run a prevent defense on that third down? How many times does this have to blow up in teams' faces to wise up?

Dave Aranda is a guy who’s lost some shine. Two years ago was probably Baylor’s best season ever, but last year they had a losing record and so far this year they look lousy.

Briles and Rhule both had better seasons.

I'll never understand why a DC would switch to prevent defense for the last drive when your regular defense stopped them all night. Can any football gurus weigh in on that? Also seems like the defensive players start playing differently when the DC switches to ultra prevent, the attitude changes with it.

Why not just run the same D you've run all night?

Golesh had an upset win over Rice. His QB went off for 22/29 for 435yds.

Golesh is a great offensive mind. No doubt Heupel is as well but Golesh is just as respectable. We miss him. Halzle will get there.
