This is free fodder for all of you that hate Coach Walden and the Govs.................I can take the hate, but........This is big for my Govs. First UAC game in school history. Road win over a solid program.
The two refs were probably looking at each other to get alignment on what they were instructed to do by Bama Sankey. To be fair, the umpire didn’t have a good line of sight

I get it, but being up 31-0 at half will make all but the most disciplined teams lose some focus, combined with a new QB they probably watched zero film on, and that’s what you get. Not excusing it, but I don’t think it should be the defining image of our performance yesterday. The third quarter made people nervous. Definitely a bad quarter, but overall a pretty good game. Better than either of the last two, for sure.
I think Heup likes to keep doing stuff until they stop it. He did do it less after they adjusted and were better at stopping it.After throwing the same screen 50 times it almost was picked off by UTSA and taken to the house… got to be better Vs SEC teams with that stuff. All the sideways horizontal game gives me a headache. But if that’s what Joe can do then go ahead with it. Gotta be careful Vs SEC speedsters on the outside though
That’s really concerning considering we haven’t even played anyone but UF and they aren’t a good offense.Overall a solid game yesterday. Came out swinging then looked lethargic on both sides. Bad news facing USCe next week is Tennessee ranks 123rd/133 in completion percentage allowed on defense (68.5%)… good news is USCe ranks 118th in the same category so not much better than UT.
Rush Yards per attempt allowed
UT 19th/133
USCe 44th/133
IMO it goes to the lack of speed in the secondary. You go back and watch the secondary then compare it to other top 25 teams and UT’s look like they run with cinderblocks around their ankles. Poor angles and tackling not to mention, but we’ll see what happens. Have a feeling it’ll be a shootoutThat’s really concerning considering we haven’t even played anyone but UF and they aren’t a good offense.
