I was checking the score but couldn’t watch.

We looked like 2022 vols in first half. At end of half Milton got jacked up on a tackle. He didn’t look remotely the same after. Whole team out sloppy first 2 drives on offense and defense in 3rd qtr. Gave up 14 points and went 3&out twice. Then they got it back together and took care of business

Should be the order.

Sad part is both Wright and Small can come back next year and take snaps away from Sampson, Seldon, Keith, and Lewis.

Love Small, but hope he moves on after this season.

I feel like we’re about to run all over them.

If we are healthy (no one from yesterday that seemed to be dinged up sits out), at full strength along with Cooper, then we may have a chance if the refs also call a somewhat fair game. Rattler is gonna feast on our DB's and there's no arguing this based on what we've seen so far. Only way we win is if our Oline performs and gives Milton time and he also is sharp... no dropsys by the WR's, and Sampson and Wright are able to get the run game going. Pressure their QB all night.

Then we have a chance.

I think we do. I am not sure how much we have practiced it, as it is not a main cog in Heupel's scheme. Maybe some deeper in routes would work. I think you have to have that to some degree to attack zone defenses.

It is not Joe Milton that they do not trust. How is that a still a narrative? Since arriving at UT, he has 20 passing TDs and 1 INT & Heup consistently says that Joe is looking in the right places and making good decisions with the ball, and y’all *still* think he doesn’t trust Milton. I don’t get it.

It is the OL blocking long enough for deeper routes to develop that they do not trust.

They are ranked 46 in rush defense, giving up 115 yards a game.
