Oh he definitely spazzed.

The background + that finish + that environment = spazz

I’m admittedly here mostly for the Lou defender nonsense lol

Holtz is a pud dating back to his time at Arkansas. Indulging his Notre Dame fetish and then paying him to garble into a microphone only accentuated that. He always needs to be called out, but when you get the opportunity, have some decorum and not act like you’re on YouTube.

Agreed. Day could have done it much better, and still buried him.

The whole “he’s old” defense is just silly.

I don't know how Joe wasn't immediately done after watching the way he was tackled. If he is indeed hurt then we need to seriously readjust our expectations of the season. I think Nico will be great before he leaves UT but asking a true freshman to take over in SEC play with the struggles we have seen on the OL is hard. If Joe is hurt, patience needs to be the new official word for UT football.

Looking at you FF!
If Nico HAS to play, I believe they take the kid gloves off and open it up for him. We’ve already gone conservative, so a little more with added touch would only benefit the offense imo. I’m not one of those damning Milton, but I believe he tries too hard to play HH instead of doing his own thing. That first play yesterday was the coaches drawing up a change-up for the opposing defense to consider. After that worked it was supposed to be at his discretion when to take off and he typically guessed wrong. Biggest difference between HH and Milton was that innate natural instinct and it would open up the offense. When Milton gets an opportunity to overthink it, he invariably does so. Nico is more natural and whenever it’s his show I expect that facet to manifest itself.

Corso actually had a good line yesterday that got heat from the fragile snowflakes on social media yesterday. Calling the Oregon State/Washington State game the Nobody Wants Us Bowl. 😅

There’s a natural feel for the game that some guys just have, an ability to read and react that’s almost second nature.

Hendon had that in spades.

if he was hurt bad enough to have an mri today…. why send him back in the game up 31-0?
With a meniscus tear? I think you can play with it.

Him slapping the ground in anger after grabbing his knee is what caused me to gasp. That’s usually a sign that the player “felt something”.

Deshaun Watson played with a torn ACL and ran for a good chunk of yardage against South Carolina in 2014. But I doubt they’d do that to Joe.

Thought we played really well first half. Second half wasnt as good but to be expected with a big lead. Not sure why people are upset over the play yesterday tbh.

mainly because many, including myself, are looking at the big picture and seeing us struggle on defense and the Oline against an inferior team with key starters missing--- we should have dominated the entire game and subs should have been in by the second half. Instead they almost scored 21pts on us with a third string QB and their top WR and another starting WR out, along with some starters on defense.

We perform like that against SC, A&M, KY, AL, GA- we get beat.

I don’t think they would put Joe out there either. If they knew.

Can’t “know” until you get the MRI. How do teams not have one in the locker room these days?
