He never used the word "soft"
Lol, really?

He said they lost those games because they weren’t physical enough. Or something to that effect.

I didn’t call the guy “stupid”, I just said he was “slow”. What’s the outrage over?!?

He said what he said, and he meant what he meant.

That’s really concerning considering we haven’t even played anyone but UF and they aren’t a good offense.
It's misleading is what it is.

Completion% can be had by any forward pass even by a foot.

While our completion% allowed is bad, we're only allowing 5.9 ypa lol. Good for #21 tied with Bama.

USCjr is allowing a crazy 8.5 ypa good for 113th.

It is not Joe Milton that they do not trust. How is that a still a narrative? Since arriving at UT, he has 20 passing TDs and 1 INT & Heup consistently says that Joe is looking in the right places and making good decisions with the ball, and y’all *still* think he doesn’t trust Milton. I don’t get it.

It is the OL blocking long enough for deeper routes to develop that they do not trust.
OL is the problem. Milton missed a couple of throws yesterday, but it was after he got his knee throttled. Campbell also got banged up yesterday.
TN played a lot of 2nd and 3rd stringers in the 2nd half yesterday. The 1st half is how I expect the vols to play.

OK, I am done with it. Day still looked like a whiny-ass baby.

The fact he got zero snaps against Florida is confusing at best.
No, it literally isn't. It's been covered ad nauseam and Heupel directly addressed it.

He's not good in pass protection (for proof, see Joe Milton getting folded up and injured yesterday, or Hooker getting clocked against LSU last year) and the Florida game shifted to us having to pass. It is just the reality of the situation that the flow of the game went away from using him but even then they acknowledged it was an oversight. He's going to be used more as the season progresses.

If he’s that deficient at pass pro, then play back around it. Have him in there when we’re throwing all of those horizontal quick passes or when he’s going to run it.

Literally what we did yesterday...

At Florida, Wright got the majority of the drives. We rarely sub out runningbacks during a drive unless they're injured or need a breather. Wright is our lead back, and the offense didn't get a ton of plays early in the game that would've created a situation where Sampson would be needed (unlike UVA where he finished several drives for Wright/Small and got 4 TDs because of it). Then we needed to throw downfield for most of the second half and needed Small or Wright on the field for pass protection.

He’s not gonna let some clown bad mouth his players as “soft” and not say something about it.

Spurrier will be 80 next year. I’m ready to hear him say something about the Tennessee players physicality.

I’m sure he’ll get a pass as a fragile old man?
Nah…

🤣🤣🤣 That current? Unbiased experts in Vegas got us at -13 but we got so these posters talking about us needing a miracle/luck to beat USCe. Being able to be logical without emotional influence is just very difficult for some people.
How is the speaking the fact that their QB and WRs are better than ours illogical?

At what other spot are we better than them so far on the field, not on paper....RB?

Before yesterday, Miss State was averaging about 330 yards and 31pts a game. Against P5 teams they were only averaging about 250yds and 22pts.

They put up 520yds and 30 pts on USCjr on the road. They hit on multiple deep shots as well and Beamer bemoaned SoCar's inability to affect the QB in the pocket.

We're averaging 460 yds and 35yds a game. 442yds and 33pts against P5 teams. Food for thought.
