Even though we were an 11, I think that 2014 team with Cuonzo was a huge missed opportunity. Nearly pulled it out against a solid but not great Michigan team. Kentucky was beatable. UConn ended up winning but weren’t elite - just got hot at the right time. Wisconsin was Wisconsin.

That UT team also should have been better. With a more capable coach, that was a team with the ability to make the final four.

Theres no other bunch that id rather be pulling for than this great group of selfless, tough, gritty and humble young men. They play for each other and whatever the outcome, I can garauntee that they will give it all they've got.

They have unfinished business left. Redemption against Purdue, against Edey, against injuries that took away the opportunity to even play at this level last year. They want it for their coach, the great university they represent, and the fans but moreso, for each other. They will play their hearts out for us, for Rick, Jo and Santi and I believe they will get it done and im not talking about just today. They have got 3 more games in them, I know it. Believe, Volnation. Theres not a better day for it. Happy Easter to all. The stone is rolled away. HE is risen!!

We can do this! We are playing and beating all of the best teams in our bracket, then we’ll play the best team in the championship and win it all! There will be no doubt who is the best team this year!

I heard Jay Wright talk yesterday about getting Edey out of his place of preference on the block away from the basket by pressuring the guards out towards half court. This would force Edey out off the block and out of his comfort zone. Sounds good to me.

It seems we’ve been prepping for this during this tourney with the ball pressure ZZ has put on. That is the pivotal matchup for this game in my opinion.
