80’s probably old enough. At that point, laugh it off and tell ‘em to make sure they take their Metamucil before the Wheel comes on. Ranting about it first thing coming off the field after a huge win just reinforces that you think their comments are still very relevant, instead of just the ramblings of a doddering old fool.Yes, yes… 2 more excuses of “he’s old”. I get it, he’s old. What’s the magic number btw? How old before no one can say anything back lol? Is it 86 like Lou?
Ooof. What in the world are you talking about? So, tell me what legal cause of action against him exists for him stating his opinion.
Day could have handled it better. I’ve said so repeatedly.80’s probably old enough. At that point, laugh it off and tell ‘em to make sure they take their Metamucil before the Wheel comes on. Agree. But still, Day handled it like a bitch, imo. Should have took the high road or made a sly comment. But, I guess "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"I don’t have a problem with what Lou Holtz said on national television and I don’t have a problem with what Coach Day said on national television… It’s what makes CFB so great
Not off limits, agreed. I guess my point is Day handled it poorly and counterproductively.Day could have handled it better. I’ve said so repeatedly.
I thoroughly disagree with the narrative that “Lou Holtz is old” makes him off limits, obviously.
Exactly Day could have went about it differently..but to be honest Holtz is so stubborn he would tell him the same thing again...just a grumpy old man like we all will be eventually in life...sidenote. Day is an @$$Day could have handled it better. I’ve said so repeatedly.
