Zack Edey was a PR disaster last week. I doubt Purdue shoved a stat sheet in his hand right before he was interviewed.

Holly recruited fairly well but couldn't coach. Kellie didn't or couldn't recruit and couldn't coach. Kim can at least coach, even if it is at a lower division level. However, coaching is coaching IMO.

You win with players. She's not going to compete in the SEC unless she gets the players. And she's going to be portal shopping with the same NIL that the past staff couldn't make work. I hope she can do more with less.

AD’s normally want their hires to be successful as it reflects directly on them. Hopefully DW gives her what is needed to recruit at the level required.

I disagree with most on here about our new hire. She's not that attractive

She is however a great coach and I see her being very, very successful here

Do you "know" with certainty she will have the same NIL. I realize it is late in the recruiting cycle, but some key folks may have already agreed to write checks.

Dominant defensive college teams bc of lack of skill on the offensive end in college. Everybody is crazy good in the NBA.

The NBA is sloppy as fundamentally, it is absolute garbage. They will not let or encourage players or teams to play great fundamental team defense...their rules literally make it impossible to play defense like Gary Payton and MJ and Rodman etc etc etc..


It is nothing more than garbage sloppy shooting and dunking contests with people traveling and double dribbling on EVERY freaking possession...I have tried...but I can not watch it anymore..I get so aggravated I want to throw my remote at the TV.

I’m in a wait and see approach. I don’t think that her prior “winning” can be assumed to automatically translate to the next biggest stage. Time will tell.

Nothing at all reminds me of that situation.

I think the LVs got an upgrade and they are paying her less per year too.

Eventually she’ll have to recruit to make a Final Four. But if there are limitations with NIL for the Lady Vols a better coach & player developer is who you need I think. Win with less and the winning makes the recruiting easier.
