I don't understand how people refuse to listen to logic. Anything CAN happen on Saturday. But the line is not stupid/ridiculous/idiotic or any other adjective you want to use to describe how off it is. Vegas casinos that build multi-billion dollar resorts off the backs of expert sports gambling line-setters don't "get lines wrong" by big margins. The line is accurate based on the actual data points collected by unconnected, non-biased experts that are not emotionally attached with any fandom to any team.
The actual outcome from playing this exact game once doesn't vindicate or cripple the line they created. The line is accurate if it were possible to play this game 100 times in a vacuum. UT doesn't suck as much as UT fans think. USCe is not a great as UT fans think. Night game in Neyland is a bigger advantage than UT fans think. Think about this: the value that comes with a night game in the Swamp tells you what the Vegas data tells them about UT. They still created that line because of what the data told them about UT. They were wrong in that one instance of that game but if we played that game 100 times that line would have played out to be true.
