As some of you may know I used to run a rescue for farm animals. Due to the economy and unfortunate circumstances we've had to scale back. We still care for many special needs and hospice cases but we just can't take in new cases

I post all that to update you on one of our original goats, the herd queen for many years who presented with cancer about a year and a half ago. We knew her time would come but were so encouraged by her flight and will. She's had an open cancerous wound on her female parts that we've successfully managed for the duration.

She slowed down some over the past 4 months but her spirits were high, she loved her hay and fig newtons and animal crackers. Spent time with her youngest daughter...... But then she started presenting with loose stool. No big deal we just clean her and treat her....... Let her spend it the remainder of her days with her daughter who is due to give birth any day............. Until Monday night she was much weaker. Tuesday afternoon I went to clean her up again and noticed my worst fears.......fly strike. They had invaded her body........ There was only one thing left to do.

We filled her full of her favorite Fig Newton, animal crackers and alfalfa hay that night. And again I'm the morning. Then took her to the vet to release her peacefully.......

I'm posting a picture of her here when we first took over the farm about 6 years ago, she was in her prime as herd queen........ Scratching her belly on something as she often did....... Rest easy Bertha! We called her Big B.......... We will look after your daughter and her babies...... We wish you could have met them!

Aren’t these statements contradictory to the ncaa doctrine that they tried to get UT in trouble with?

What he's saying is true. But there is no direct corollary median income and school facilities. Kentucky as a State is in massive growth mode, and as a result makes sure its flagship has what it needs.

Top to bottom its apples and oranges, playing in the Big Least pales in comparison to $'s from SEC.

UK is four times size of Uconn. Its Alumni base, paired with its national bball branding (only) one thinks would allow for revenue generation to support its $2.3B endowment. 4 times that of UConn's.

I encountered an alligator while we were kayaking in a bayou inside New Orleans city limits. Wifey and I spotted 3 or 4, actually, but only one surprised me at close range! She took this photo: I was busy back-peddling for all I was worth!

Agree. They think people all over the South are “ poor little country bumpkins.” When I was a kid I had some cousins who lived in NJ. They came in for a visit, and one brought their new Yankee husband. He actually asked me where were the people who live in barns were at. I gave him the look a kid gives an adult when they realize all adults do not know everything and told him that animals live in barns not people. He was as disappointed as Glitch’s tigger GIF.

Awaka possibly got tampered and/or wanted to play closer to home..but what is the deal with Aidoo and especially Mashack?? The latter is kinda baffling..first I’ve heard of this..If it’s about playing time, he’s getting more of that next year..better offer, closer to home..I’m confused!

Awaka getting NIL offers to play TE for the Vols. He can still play basketball, but has to be on football scholarship per the rules. At least that’s what I heard
