New balances are the truth.

1a. There’s a reason men don’t carry purses. We were not meant to carry so much. Cargo shorts are an enabler.
2a. Camo wearing by non military/hunting folk comes with its own judgement unless it is worn specifically to honor those who have been in the military.
3. Open toed sandals/flip flops are also only permissible under strict circumstances. 3a. Flip flops: beach only, no exceptions. 3b. Sandals: outdoor activities that involve water OR summer time outdoor activities sans water. 3c. Birkenstocks: without socks, at home or within a football field of it, see also 3a and 3b.
1b-2b. Combined, there is a level of dorkitude that borders porkitude and we would all be better off if we just left the cargo shorts in the garbage where they belong. Tool belts and backpacks are better and more effective alternatives.
1c-2c-3c. Now, when you combine the holy loserdom trifecta of improper camo use, cargo shorts, and open toed footwear, you get a creature so hideous and nauseating that they would win any punchable face contest by default. Introduce, dorkwitz, your neighbor you really wish wouldn’t talk to you, and @Glitch on a Wednesday approximately 5:30pm (also your neighbor you wish wouldn’t talk to you).

This concludes class 1 male fashion 101. Class 2 will be tomorrow at precisely 5pm. We will start by discussing all things socks (when to wear or not wear socks and what types of socks are appropriate for a given occasion), types of boots and when appropriate to wear them, and ideal shorts length.
Sorry, there is no way a backpack is more manly than cargo shorts. Real men wear overall cut offs (unhemmed) as casual summer wear. And house shoes are for inside or getting the mail.

Yesterday, AP on Josh and swain said to expect a commitment within 10-14 days.

Any speculation on who?

My guess would be Cameron Sparks. I can’t immediately think of anyone else that might be close.

He said on the Tuesday pod that Jaelyn Matthews was “one to watch” during his upcoming visit, but on J&S yesterday just said he was a May/June decision.

So… Sparks or 🤷‍♂️
Jaelyn Matthews. At least I hope haha

God’s work. Bless you and others who do more than the rest.
Thank you sir!

And another update, we went out to the stall we put her daughter in this morning to find she had given birth to a single all black girl with what looks like a lightning bolt wrapping from one side of her belly underneath to the other side...... Daughter named her Electra. We will call her "L" for short in honor of her grandmother "Big B".

I'll get a picture on the next day or two...... I'm off to work!

I added to my response (above) to clarify.

I didn't say we would get a Knecht every year. I was saying that a Nico or Pierce more resembles a Knecht than these guys. High first round picks. I added the case of Baron as a better if not perfect comparison, imo. I agree with you that the possible effect on the culture if they all go is a concern. We'll just have to see.

Didn't mean it to sound personal. I do apologize if it did.
No biggie , it's all good.

In this era of free agency (employment) opportunities enjoyed by all of us (the act of free job movement), the players have similar opportunities now. That bothers a lot of people. Best get over it if you want to enjoy college sports today. Get used to roster turnover until/if a union forms with collective bargaining, which opens up another big pandora's box of undesired consequences.

Did you think that other programs would not go hunting for our better basketball players that finished probably top 5 in the nation? Money talks with a lot of the players, they have family well being to consider. If you are not helping by contributing financially to UT and/or Spyre to take care of this issue; chill and take a lap. Be a part of the solution and not the problem. Every dollar helps and if you are reading this you have a dollar to contribute.

The coaching staffs of each sport have to change with this paradigm shift. The more innovative and competent will be higher valued going forward. That means the opponents will come hunting for our guys. Admins have to adapt and be ready to quickly respond.

When it comes to those later points - it's great to be a Tennessee Vol. At some point down the road this will settle out and be more predictable.
