I enjoy the 7yr but never been spoiled enough to try that! Cheers
Brother, I’ve had that for about 2 years now and never seen another one. Currently having a glass now sitting my big butt on the boat.

I have a good friend that owns a store in Mississippi and she hooks me up with everything at MSRP.

I love the idea of Bruce returning to Knoxville. I cannot think of 1 good reason he should not be our next coach when Barnes retires. I'm sure some donors' egos would prevent that from happening. There's not but so many coaches any school could hire that would be a better hire than Bruce and I'm certain that we won't hire someone better.

I know. It's unfortunate. We need to be more serious about winning.

How can you make this statement when you don’t even know who we’ll hire when Rick retires?

Bruce also trying to wiggle his way into having Steven named HC in waiting. You want that?

Also do you think a program like UConn is not serious about winning? Bc they hired Danny Hurley from Rhode Island.

Not about fleeting happiness or sadness of a specific fanbase. About what's good for players and coaches and programs (some reasonable balance amongst those interests). What is sensible for the long-term.

An unrestricted portal just makes no sense. Imagine if coaches didn't have contracts. Literally every sport involving $ has ended with the same shape, utilizing contracts. No one does it this way because it's too chaotic.

There will be NIL + contracts of course. Collectives are there for NIL. They are separate. No collective has to join a university and you can have multiple, one for each position.

It would give back sensible roster management capabilities to coaches, while ensuring spots and salaries for players.

I really can't see it going anywhere else. Don't think you can go back to the old transfer policy. And the current environment is utter absurdity for coaches. This is just temporary imo.
I answered this point by point, but it was too long, and no one wants to read all that. So I deleted it. I'm okay having different views.

Because we've never made a splash hire. Bruce would be a splash hire.

UConn has never made a splash hire. They’ve won 6 titles in the last 25 years.

Duke didn’t make a splash hire.

UNC didn’t make a splash hire this time.

Tony B at Virginia wasn’t a splash hire.

Jay Wright at Nova wasn’t.

UK didn’t make a splash hire.

FL didn’t.

Also Barnes was a splashier hire than brining back Pearl would be.

How does one become "more serious about winning"?

UGA hired a DC in football. Clemson promoted their OC. UConn hired no name Hurley. Unc and duke hired assistants.

Who was TV before he came here? Oates before DW grabbed him? Heupel before...DW hired him?

We've 100% made the best hires since the early 90s in just the last decade. 1 was Barnes. The others...not at all like Barnes. Hiring coaches is a complete crapshoot, nobody has figured it out and most never will even come close, because this is a non-zero sum game. Many many losers and a few winners.

But DW's history says he's as good as anyone, across the board.

I'm pretty sure the French had bidets long before Japan put the bidet in backwards. Anyway, I did see those kind of toilets in SE Asia, but extremely rarely. But in the airport in Tokyo, it was over the top. The water stream toilets (what is the generic term for them?) such that you could turn on heat, massage, adjust the speed and angle, I don't remember what all. I was like: this is not a spa stop for me, bruh. But it worked fine.
Yeah I believe all bidet fixtures will have intensity and angle. Necessity. Warm/heat is optional, but only a few bucks more.

I don't even want to ask about the massage option 😅

There's also a dual-stream version for women. Guess it could be for men too if you don't like having schweddy balls 😶

Well would you scrub your truck without water? Or shower with a dry sponge?

You still use a liiitle TP, but you only have to spare a square. Saves $ time and you actually feel fresh like out of the shower. Can never go back once you go bidet. Even traveling...you'll miss the fresh cleanliness.

Not half a roll like someone posted lol (cue Andy from Parks and Rec gif)

It's very sanitary and hygenic. More than just paper, say doctors. Literally a shower for your bottom.

Also good for cities and towns plumbing and sewer systems. Those flushable wipes absolutely terrorize with their infamous fatbergs.
We're finishing up renovating a lake house before moving in sometime in the next month and the master bathroom has a full bidet next to the toilet (was already there, no renovating needed in that space). I don't plan to use it. I get that it is probably more sanitary, but...just too awkward.

It's insane to me how so many people don't understand the concept of a young promising coach.

All of those coaches had either done big things as assistants or head coaches at lower levels before their big time job.

Okay Hurley was a dominant high school coach in the 2000's. He took a Wagner program who had won five games before he got there to 26 in two seasons. URI hired him and he took them from 7 wins to eventual back to back A10 champs and NCAA wins.

Would we not want the equivalent of that type of resume to replace Barnes?
