Yeah. But… Does winning series mean anything towards winning the league? Towards getting into the playoffs? Or is it just bragging rights? Sorry I didn’t type all this out to begin with.

It means you actually "beat" the other team. If you average winning 2/3rd of your games in the SEC you're probably in the top 3rd of the league too. So, winning series is good.
