At some point in the early-mid 2000s he was working at the Waffle House on Cedar Bluff.Beautiful day in this great state, where I got to enjoy the O&W game thanks to @SSVol.
Took my oldest daughter and had a great time. Even got to meet Steve Hamer and talked with him a bit. Genuinely nice dude who took time to encourage my daughter to keep up basketball and school. In the same thought he told us how excited he was for Kim Caldwell. He said to get ready to see us take 100 shots a game.
Wonderful day and wonderful environment. Here we are with (very tall) Steve:

I won't throw shade. They seem to have made the ole miss spring game a pretty neat event.
Did you see his training videos? He's not training in a straight line. Jumping, landing at angles, making cuts, etc.His movements just looked robotic as far as like changing direction. Running is just one direction but pivoting and stuff twists that area he broke and I think that still bothers him…. From what I saw anyways @VolsDoc81TX probably knows more about those types of breaks.
But I'm skeptical about it being fully healed and being able to play on it by the beginning of the season. Maybe the back half?
I think he was the overall #1 seed. . .Definitely is considered a upset what do you think @Enki_Amenra those odds must have been +2500
