When Lou Holtz was the coach at Scar, he actually complained to the SEC office and to the officiating crew before one of his games at Tennessee, whining like a slobber-mouthed baby that Neyland Stadium was too loud. Holtz wanted the officials to stop play until Vols fans were quiet whenever USCjr was on offense. Really.

Ryan Day is also soft.

The thing is the fact Ryan Day let what Lou Holtz said get to him to the point that after struggling to come from behind to beat ND on the last play of the game, without being asked he brought that up first?

Dylan’s pass blocking is the only reason he isn’t ahead of Jabari on the depth chart.

Small is really an outstanding all-rounder: running, blocking, catching, and he really knows the offense. He has always given his all for Tennessee.

That he is being eclipsed now shouldn't dampen our appreciation of the guy. He is a gutsy VFL. And he has always been a team player in the RB room. He may win us a game this year, who knows?

Holtz is a real UT hater, so there's that. There's also his combined record against Tennessee of 1-8. Maybe there is a connection.

And did I mention that Ryan Day-sy is soft as talc on a baby's behind.

Jabari Small is at 6.1 YPC on the season... he's one of those "what ifs" we'll look back on because he really had some nagging injuries it seemed like his entire career.

Looks like an onside kick. Kickoff team was getting after it, so they seemingly knew where it was going.

Edges out Mike Schmidt for best OVERALL imo.

Imo Schmidt was the better bat + glove combo.

The Knoxville press tried yesterday to trick Heup into looking as if he gave a damn about what the Beamer-douche said after Beamer's game, but Heup didn't fall for it. They wanted to help Beamer any way they could by inventing some fake back-and-forth. I think they got the idea from the Day-Holtz feather-pillow fight.
