I just checked their depth chart and they still have all their starters, plus 6 more back-ups. That does not include their freshmen OL.South Carolina offensive line is in trouble with injuries...Tennessee gets 6 sacks and one strip fumble from the Rattler ....Tyler Baron records 3 of the sacks.....Go Vols 14-1 back on the winning out bus....
That is just what I expected. Well done. Beamer will have the broadcast announcers repeating his lines all night, if he can.I just checked their depth chart and they still have all their starters, plus 6 more back-ups. That does not include their freshmen OL.
#55 Jakai Moore missed practice but is supposedly OK to start on Sat.
They lost 3 of their starters from 2022, plus OT Jaylen Nichols is supposedly out long term. But they also picked up two transfers (#69 at LG & #77 at RT).
Maybe Beamer wants to lull us into a false sense of security?
If Huepel isn’t preparing them like SC is full go then he’s doing it wrong.I just checked their depth chart and they still have all their starters, plus 6 more back-ups. That does not include their freshmen OL.

I don't know Sampson's assignment, obviously. But I've seen the defensive tackle go through the guard like a turnstile a few times and I've never seen anyone blame the running back for it. I have a feeling if it was that simple, Aaron Donald wouldn't have won all those DPOY awards.
I maintain that Sampson's pass protection "problems" are entirely based on one play that happened over a year ago.
Play is at 11:33. I dare anyone to watch Karic on this play and then say this sack is in Sampson lol.
In hindsight, "break" may have been too strong a word. It implies more than I meant. Do I want to hurt the kid? Yes. I want him to hurt. I want him to dread getting hit. Do I want to knock him out of the game? Again, yes. Do I want to end his career and leave him to a life of bare-knuckle brawling on the Waffle House circuit? No. But hell yes, I want to hurt him.
Could probably watch UGA's DEs. I suspect they didn't lose contain on Rattler nearly as badly as USCj did.I didn’t remember anything about Xavier Legette for USCjr before this year. Just dug into a little bit about him and he’s kind of had a Hyatt type arc, except he’s a Senior not Junior.
Before this year, he had 423 yards total in his career. He has 556 in 4 games this year. He looks to have had some injury concerns as he hasn’t played a full year yet though. Either way, he kind of came out of nowhere this year.
I’m still not sure what we do Saturday to slow him down. UNC had what, 9 sacks, or whatever the hell it was and he still had 178 yards on 9 catches. So just a pash rush wasn’t enough. UGA held him to 71 yards. They had the pass rush and the DBs to actually slow him down. I think we only have the pass rush. JMO.
If we keep Legette under control, say under 100 yards and no long TDs, I think we win by 2+ TDs. If he goes off like he has 3 out of 4 games, I think it’s going to be a shootout.
