At least Shaqs personality is likable, athletic ability aside. Lebron takes himself too seriously, yet the way he handles his “greatness” is not always (or most often) the most respectable. I had respect for Shaq even if he wasn’t the goat. I don’t remember him being “a whiner”, which is a way I would describe Lebron.
Shaq is very likeable and doesn't try to make himself part of the goat discussion. That is why no one really bashes Shaq other than complaints at the time of his play style of lack or discipline.

So long as Aidoo doesn't cross our path, I'm fine wishing him well in a rather perfunctory manner. And if he were playing one of our rivals, I would root for him. But he's not a VFL. Lost his chance.

In the meanwhile, I'm happy that we apparently turned this circumstance to our advantage.
We will play him in Knoxville. We’ll remind him of his poor decision making skills.

Right, of course. Thank you. I was thinking of Awaka going to AZ.

Aidoo transferring in-conference is an insult. That really seems to cross a line. To'o To'o jr. I expect he'll receive a harsh welcome from the team and the fans. 😁

Above all, as I said, I think we traded up.

I'm 56 and I've followed American sports my whole life. I've never seen a great player so universally reviled as Lebron James. I really can't make sense of it. I know he has a big ego and made media missteps through the years. But come on -- Nobody has a bigger ego than Michael Jordan. Great players and leaders are wired like that.

He's a family oriented man who gives back to his community. He raised two sons with the same woman -- go read about the sexual exploits of 80's and 90's NBA stars.

Disclaimer: I'm a numbers-oriented person who thrives on player stats. I have many NBA/NFL/MLB records memorized. Statistically, Lebron just doesn't have an equal. His ranking in several categories is historic and may outlive us all. There's no reason to argue that point.

I need somebody to explain the hatred for this guy. What is it about Lebron that gets SO many people riled up?
He’s widely hated because he’s a whiny bitch.

A 6’9” 275 lb monster that flops, cries, and complains endlessly. In a soft ass league….

Happy to help here.

As long as it’s not us.

Uga makes sense. First the pitching. Then the dugout. Wonder what comes out next.
Wonder if their recruiting staff members drive underage players to bars in the middle of the night? That can be dangerous, and if the underage player is illegally intoxicated under that supervision it would affect his judgement as to whether he should get in the car with someone he knows is blotto. Or if they have umpteen sexual assault accusations that somehow never see the light of day? Or if their in-the-pocket local police accidentally on purpose repeatedly forget to test players involved in reckless driving, and then reduce all the charges to something like a parking ticket? Or if the NCAA knew that they were paying players under the table before NIL, like a well-known TE? Some wonder how Pickens ever passed an elementary school course, much less a college class. I could go on. It could seem that knowing where the bodies are buried at Bama is like an inexhaustible get-out-of-jail-free card.

I've mentioned this before. If I were to assemble a top 5 all time team, Lebron is one player that gives me difficulty. He'd play Powar Forward but I'm not sure he'd start over some other Power Forwards in history (Time Duncon). MJ and Majic Johnson are two that would absolutely be on that team.
C - Wilt Chamberlain
PF - Tim Duncan
SF - Larry Bird
SG - Michael Jordan
PG - Magic Johnson

As opposed to...none of those guys were studs out of HS or the portal...and Heupel's offense highlighted them as much as humanly possible.

Wright wasn't even on anyone's radar 2 years ago. Hooker was never an NFL prospect out of VT. Hyatt was a skinny 4 star who seemed dead in the water at first and was turned into a stud. Tillman was a low 3* for god's sake.

Outside of maybe Hyatt (top 200 prospect...6th rd equivalent), none of those guys were naturally expected to even be draftworthy in the first place.

Anyone spinning that narrative is acting like he took a bunch of 5*s and made them into busts lol. Basically the opposite. And yet if we averaged 25 ppg and sucked, then folks would say what? The draft results were about right? Lmfao. Guess that'd be better in some fans' minds smh

People calling for sheduer in the top 10 are crazy. I’d say he’s not even first round unless daddy prime pulling strings. He’s not the athlete his dad was nor is he a qb worthy of such hype. Locker room cancer to boot. Whatever team drafts him will probably be firing their gm 2-3 years later.

If NFL GMs were skeptical of Spencer Rattler and his ridiculous, poisonous antics - they’re gonna love this guy lol.
