All I'm saying is if we're going to make fun of other teams for losing to inferior squads, we better not lose to a 15-27 (11-10 Atlantic Sun) team from Nashville.

9-5 Lipscomb
Bottom of 8th
2 outs
C-Mo at bat
GO VOLS
All I'm saying is...it happens, other teams have been losing midweek on the regular.

A number of CU players responded, not just Shedeur. Shedeur Sanders, teammates react to former Buffs player blasting Colorado

I'd rather have The Athletic dogging the NCAA for letting Michigan walk, and documenting the whole affair, including especially the things that have been swept under the table with media complicity. What a farce. That would be worth reading. But Michigan has a cheat-with-impunity card.
NCAA made a deal with Michigan and Harbaugh. Get away with it and ride off into the sunset as champs, but Harbaugh never coaches another college game. I truly believe that.

Underrated part of UT baseball season is the absolutely unhinged posts from people who clearly know nothing about baseball.
It's not just them...it's old timers that understand baseball and still pitch a dang fit like it's the most embarrassing thing ever..

Once again.. EVERY dang great team in MLB history has lost games to the worst teams(30-40 win dregs) in the league during the season..usually 2-3 games matter of fact, and sometimes several games.

It's baseball...and it happens. We play Lipscomb 50 times and we win 45 of them at least..but they are gonna win some.

Happy Wednesday all.

May 1, 2024: You can look back regretting the things you have done and the circumstances you have endured, but it will not change what was or has been. What you can do is repent and ask the forgiveness of God, leave it behind, and move on with your focus on fulfilling the purposes of the Lord in your life. Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Baseball isnt like other sports. NAIA Milligan has players. Walters State has players. Lipscomb has players. Is what it is. Means jack ****.

Just looking ahead to next year's NFL Draft, there isn't but a couple of teams that want a QB.

The Giants
Raiders
Cowboys if they let Dak walk.

Anyway if Carolina absolutely sucks again this season, they should get 1st pick and it's possible they would draft Pearce Jr.

Panthers have Bryce Young and aren't going to give up on him after 2 season and just traded their best defensive player this past off season.

Also if I'm correct isn't Pearce Jr. from Carolina?

I do agree with some others that this is partly a generational thing. I assume those that grew up in the Celtic Dynasty period shook their head at 80s basketball.
The NBA was its most popular in the 80's, the had a slogan "It's Fan-tastic." Every team had a different personality. Lakers, Show Time with Kareem and Magic The Celtics had Larry Bird and were the polar opposite of the Lakers. The Sixers had Dr. J who was a quiet, unassuming, physical freak show ( my Lord his hand were massive, Glitch behave). The Pistons were the Bad Boys and Isaiah Thomas. Then they all retired and there was a void and the NBA panicked, attempted a quick fix by hopping on Michael Jordan's back, "changing the rules" and making everything about him.
For many people I have talked too, that was the end of the NBA for them.

Chicago gave up on Fields. If they suck badly enough to get the first pick again, there's a good chance they give up on Young. And let's be honest, that front office is absolutely dumb enough to keep chasing a qb in the draft hoping he'll rescue the franchise from all their bad decisions.

I hope for Pearce's sake he doesn't go to Carolina.

Will Levis could easily lead the Titans to the first overall pick.

Yup.

If there was concern about winning midweeks there would be more concern by the coaching staff about who they used as pitchers and how long said pitchers were in the game.

I am far more concerned to see the tired bats and lack of plate discipline by a number of the more productive guys.
