I think it’s that hardcore binge drinking is down. Anyway, thats what my own research says. Kids are more likey to micro dose & drink moderately, if at all.
I know it’s a subsection of the country as a whole, but bars are more crowded than ever, so maybe I should preface, based on regionality, I disagree

Ok, I like my sports one a time. If I'm watching football, I don't want to be distracted by the cheerleaders It's an annoyance. If I'm fooling with beautiful women, I don't want John Ward butting in with the play by play.
Weird. Now I want to hear John Ward call the play by play as I fool around with Margot Robbie.

I cant say one way or the other, er I will add we were at a Winery in Boone not too long ago. Place was top to bottom full.

Places I go for work events, are busy. But are restaurant/bars. So have little input.

I downloaded a new app on my phone that claims to be able to detect when I am hungry. I was pretty skeptical about it, but sure enough, when I got hungry at work yesterday, the app contacted a local restaurant to call me to see what I wanted to eat. The app is called Onion Rings.

I agree. Sometimes it may be justified for the whipping or spanking. But is it effective in changing behavior? Every child is different.

In additional physical abusers work in a manner that rationalizes the physical abuse as punishment for real as well as perceived negative behavior when there is none. So deserving it or not makes little difference in the minds of those abused. I had personal experiences with the latter as a child and it was with my mother.

As a result of my experiences I never laid a hand on my children. I am not opposed to it, it was just unnecessary. I found other ways to be effective with discipline.
We are fortunate enough to have a daughter for whom just the thought of her disappointing us was punishment enough. We weren't opposed to spanking per se, just did not need it.

Happy Friday team. Sorry I am late.

May 3, 2024: When difficulties and challenges arise, you must be flexible to do what is required of you. Realize that I am with you to give you wisdom and direction in every circumstance. Do not be afraid to step out in faith, and know that you can accomplish what seems to be impossible. Be strong and of good courage, says the Lord. Take one step at a time in realizing your goal so that you do not become overwhelmed. Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

According to the ESPN scroller:

Kirby Smart is now making $13 million per year.

Who needs that much money?

Some of my go to brands that I don't like to compromise on

Allen's green beans
Grey Poupon dijon mustard in the glass jar
Miracle Whip
Kikkoman Soy Sauce
Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce
Oscar Mayer Baloney
jelly bellies
kraft mac and cheese
Campbell's Chunky soup

Probably a lot more but all I got for now.
You must be as uppity as @drvenner.

👀 that Lea and Perrins. You can't hide money.

Random question for Panther fans…. How’s Cade Mays doing? He still there I assume?
I confess I did not watch a lot of panthers this year. It was tough. Cade blocked a kick by the Saints though.

I don't think he's done Trey Smith good, but certainly 6th round pick good.

He is primarily a versatile depth peice.
Mays played in 79 of the offense’s 80 snaps in Week 15. His outing yielded an 89.9 overall grade from Pro Football Focus—the highest single-game mark for any Panthers offensive lineman this season.

defiantly

Either Sinaloa or Gulf Cartels make billions, or US/TN makes millions.

Your choice.
I say let the U.S. military take care of the cartels.
And for all intents and purposes weed is legal everywhere in the U.S. now. I know many people who grow it for their own useage and everybody knows about it and they are not bothered. I don't see it is it as either the cartels or the government gets rich (I don't want either to prosper). Legalized weed leads to another government bureaucracy aka money grab, let the local guy make any money to be made on the down low, nobody's going to care unless he starts harming other or becomes a nuisance.
Think: rum runners. My Grandad (he made likker) told me "Ya wanna know the difference between me and Jack Daniels?, Jack Daniels pays his taxes."
