Wrong in so many ways. If we had Hook and same offensive line as last season we average 45 to 50 points a game this year. Oline play has been awful in pass protection.
I honestly don't understand how Milton is NOT seeing these guys open all over the place. I know he's been under pressure a lot, but he is doing it on plays where there is no pressure...it's like he has zero anticipation skills, and by the time he recognizes it is too late to throw the ball.

I don’t really buy this. It’s easy to say that after we lost arguably our 4 best offensive players out of 11 starters last year. We’ve had receivers open and we’ve had the opportunities for explosive plays. But drops and inaccurate passes mixed with very poor OL play isn’t exactly a recipe for success. I would need to see at least an entire season, if not two, of poor offensive play for me to say Heupel has been “figured out.”
Being down Cooper is a huge deal. Ollie Lane was suppose to be our starting left guard as well. We've been playing with two back ups there and we already know how costly it is for us to be down Cooper from how we played two years ago. We struggled pretty badly with Carvin starting at Center.

Then you just can't underestimate how costly those pre-snap penalties are. Drive KILLERS. There aren't very many teams that win on the road with five false starts. We also had a hold, the ref kick of the ball and UF subs and then the awful blindside block call.

Even though a false start is only five yards it KILLS rhythm, momentum, changes your play calling and lowers your odds at making a first down. Players get in their head about it too.

Just eliminating false starts tomorrow makes us way better than we were against UF. That and especially if Coop is out there.

UNC had 9 sacks against USCjr. They have had 3 since.

After that game, in addition to the media saying USCjr didn’t have a good OL, they were also saying UNC had a really good DL. I definitely remember Pate saying he was told UNC DL was going to be good this year and after the game said he believed it now.

Turns out, maybe that DL isn’t all it was cracked up to be. USCjr is just that bad on OL.

Geoff Collins on SEC This Morning basically said that SEC coaches have figured out how to stop Heupel’s offense and what UF did is the blueprint.

I think it has more to do with our current talent but I guess we’re going to find out as the season progresses.
Geoff Collins was also DC at Florida when we beat them 38-28 in 2016. He couldn’t stop Butch’s offense.

Article on ESPN stating the same thing reasons ....stolen raises are up due to changes in the game ....
Why didn't Mookie have at least 40 then? Rules make him hit more HR and have a higher BA? And even the geeks have to consider he bests him in WAR...whatever the hell that is.

Did I say a word about Mookie just said there was an article backing the posters claim ...damn.. WAR is stupid stat that people who have nothing better to do with their lives ...Wins Above Replacement ..just shows how bad the player is that replaces you while your out ...

Man it just feels like their o-line is destined to really struggle with crowd noise and our ability to pressure the QB.

If they were shaky with 4 false starts against UGA's afternoon crowd, the odds feel pretty great that they also struggle tomorrow night in what will be a much more hostile environment. Our D wants blood for last year, they haven't blocked well all year, we have pressured very well all year....

I agree.

You may be right, but depth charts never are at this point in the season.
The OL that Beamer was whining about being out were not on that depth chart list.

But let's look at it this way. Just because they're healthy doesn't mean that they can block worth a s***. 🤞
