Geoff Collins on SEC This Morning basically said that SEC coaches have figured out how to stop Heupel’s offense and what UF did is the blueprint.

I think it has more to do with our current talent but I guess we’re going to find out as the season progresses.
So, is the blueprint having the refs kick a set ball on a key 3rd and short, not call a blatant PI in the redzone, and throw a flag for a phantom crack back block?

I would say that’s not a repeatable blueprint, but it is SEC refs, soooooo…..

No you were arguing analytics vs real stats. I called them snake oil and you mocked the term with a devastating gif.
Real stats yes I agree who cares about WAR ...but if everyone is saying use WAR then Ohtani better than all ....

I’m tired of hearing that the OL is an issue, because it is not. (Outside of the Ollie Lane false starts)

The OL has no help from Milton, defenses do not fear him and are pinning their ears back and making him throw under pressure which he is awful at. Until he shows teams that he will hit his check downs, it is going to make our OL look bad. (Our OL looked bad when Milton started before until HH took over and then our OL looked elite)

Once he shows he isn’t afraid to hit the 10-15yd completion instead of the 30-40+ throw, teams will have to respect him. But as of now, teams do not respect him and they continue to pin their ears back and make our OL look like they are struggling.

Dr. Joe passed away today. He was such an ambassador for the Tennessee system and he loved athletics. He truly got the idea of athletics being the front porch and the need for alignment and empowerment. What a duo of athletic force he was along with Dough Dickey. The work of those two had most of the SEC chasing Tennessee in men's and women's athletics.

Hot take. You can’t say OL isn’t an issue when UF had 5-6 guys in the box, and we had 5-6 guys blocking and we can’t win the 1 on 1s. That’s OL being a massive issue

Another subject...this Leopold being up for MSU job eeeh...I would stay at Kansas with Oklahoma and Texas leaving Big 12.. Kansas should be a top dog in conference every year...only competition should be Oklahoma State...you know grass isn't always GREENER on other side...

That’s not what WAR is.

The replacement player is always the same. It shows you how much better the actual player is… vs the replacement.

It’s the best overall stat in all of Baseball. It’s definitely the best stat for comparing players across different eras.
Odds Boone and Showalter both get fired this off-season...?

My man he's better period and I'm a fan of Mookie. Ronnie was 3 bags from a 40/40 in his 2nd season. I'd say you haven't seen his last 40/40. Which is ridiculous to think about.
He’s clearly better… This year. He might be better next year, too. We’ll see.

Mookie’s season in ‘18 was silly. His ‘16 was pretty damn good too.
But he’s regressed defensively, his glove isn’t worth what it once was.

Acuna’s bat is mighty valuable.

Forget umpires at this point. The zone can cover balls and strikes and they can use technology on check swings. Plays at bags can also be covered by sensors or instant replay. This is the last part of the equation where smart people will dominate baseball and the old guard can’t buy influence anymore.
Yup.

Humans aren't made for calling spatial judgements that fast and small.

Most can hardly drive well.
