Thanks. I've got voltage the around the element.

It's got a breaker like this..View attachment 583243
Would it also be on a breaker in the electrical panel?

I've been fighting with the water heaters for 2 evenings now. It's driving me nuts.
Well my next thought would be the thermostat is limiting current but if you have voltage at the element....I dunno man. I'm not an electrician for sure but I try to do most of my home repairs and if I can't do it myself I try to be educated enough to not get ****ed by the repair guys lol.

edit - maybe make sure the thermostat hasn't been monkeyed with. I'm guessing there's some way to "reset" the thermostat by turning all the way in or out and then dialing it back to a factory preset?

Interestly, Tebow and Roman Harper on Finebaum see "inconsistent QB play" as only one among many things hurting Tennessee -- and not the biggest issue. Both single out the line of scrimmage as number 1. I don't usually look at Finebaum but I was waiting for the Beavers to come out on the field.

I don’t find it the least bit surprising that Roman Harper & Tim Tebow don’t think Joe Milton is a problem.

The OL has been a problem
Milton has been a problem

Both are true.

I came home yesterday and it was dripping out of the drain pan pipe (outside). I replaced the intake nipple and cold water hose last night but it didn't help. It was still leaking. I went to Lowes after work today and had the water heaters swapped out in less than an hour. I thought I might have turned the power on too early but my elements tested good. I don't know what else to do, except tear it back out and return it.

****I tried the reset button 1st. It's kind of like a GFI receptacle, but it wasn't tripped. I think I got a junk unit. I'll try to change the thermostat. I've not done that yet

That your holding in your hand is a circuit breaker. Just a thought if you put in upside down it breaks the circuit. One way allows current the other disconnects current.

OK. Thank you. I didn't know what it was called. I do have voltage at the element panel. 20230929_215313.jpg

HELP: information needed

I've had to replace our electric water heater. It's a 38 gallon tank. The heating elements tested good and the reset button is not tripped. I turned the power on 3.5 hours ago. I've been throught the troubleshooting list and everything is good. It's passing water through the faucet.

*****Should I have hot water yet? Because I don't. How long should it take?

(I'm not wanting to have to tear it down and take it back tomorrow. It's a OA Smith from Lowes)
Do you have a multimeter?

Speaking of that if you like lettuce then Wendy's is the place...only burger joint I know that will put half a head of iceberg lettuce on a cheeseburger 🤨
😆, for some reason this reminded me of a girl I dated when I was about 21 or 22. I guess she was trying to impress me one night by making a good dinner.

She did a good job with everything, it looked great. Cheeseburger, french fries, potato salad, etc., simple, but looked good.

I took a bite of the burger and notice the lettuce was. . . different, and too much of it. . . she bought cabbage instead of lettuce, 😂. Still friends with her, we still laugh about it.
