All downhill from here. I've seen this movie before!!

Coach TV, as much as I like him, has to get it figured out. We have to stop being happy with being #1 and start focusing on not falling behind in 1 game late in the season!
9-3 Vols. And fried chicken never scored after the 2nd inning. Don't give up so soon.

Y’all can hate on Burns all you want, but We needed him this season

Still don’t understand why he left…his stats showed his numbers were better that way…as a player if a coach made that move and it didn’t improve my stats then I could totally understand him leaving.but he got better and still wanted to leave.overall I think he just had bad handlers feeding him bad advice…milking him for everything he’s worth..NIL definitely played a factor I’m sure…

I’ve said the same thing this year needing a dominant pitcher because I think Beam is better as the #2 guy when he was behind dollander there was no pressure on him but this year there is going into the post seasonal play..burns is a want not a “need” because we’re maintaining nicely as of now.

I like your style..that sounds like something I would say..lol...🤣
I actually need to stop talking that way, in all honesty...even though it's absolutely how I feel about several running around here. It's the roughneck coming out of me; I spent the majority of my life on construction sites (built oil and gas pipelines for 20 years), and my mouth can be completely filthy. It's no way to speak, and I'm sure I offend good people around here.

However, with that said...🤬 those dipsh!ts I was originally talking about.

@Enki_Amenra I put some bass in the pond behind the house today. They say should be pound and a half to two pounds by next year and be pushing 5 in two years. We'll see I guess, but my son was very excited. Put 85 in there, pond is only an acre and a half.
That's a perfect size pond, imo. It won't be long til you have 6-8lbers in there.

My uncle has a pond and in his first year he struggled getting the weight of the fish up..they had length..but nothing more..this was due to catfish eating up all of the bait fish…not saying you have that problem I’m just saying pay attention to the bass..if you ever experience this problem and have catfish.invite some friends over to catch a good amount out of the pond and have a nice fish fry..then add more bluegill and you’ll have a state record in no time..good to see the kids staying outside..good luck and happy fishing

Just seems our pitching isn’t what it used to be, and it seems we lack that shut down pitcher. But idk a ton abt the situation surrounding Burns and why he left so I was just spit balling
is starting pitching as good? no.

do we have a shut down middle reliever? no.

nor do we have Ben. but id argue we have more arms, and very consistent relief across the board.

Our pitching is great. You're just used to otherworldly. Thank you, Tony Vitello.

8 and 7 runs against vandy, 10 against Be!mont, and 9 last night. I hardly call that silent. Most of the lineup hits over 300, you just can't score a million runs every game. 9 out of the last 14 games we've score 6 runs or more. We're fine. That kind of production will win alot of games. Beam is sitting at about a 3.6 era, he gives us a chance to win every game he starts. I'll take that anytime.
It’s weird how people think we should score double digits every game.

Catfish will kill a small pond, all we have in it is shellcracker, bluegill, and redbreast. My FIL put them in about 4 years ago and passed away before he could put bass in it. I worry more about herons than anything. We have about 5 that frequent our pond. We also have more bullfrogs than I have ever seen. They carry on nonstop in the summer time. They're as bad as the cicadas are this year.

Yea, it just seems like weekend pitching isnt what it used to be, probably because we’ve been top notch in previous years, but still seems like a slump

SEC Championships are nice.

#1 Rankings mean shiite.

Real prize is the Tourney, everything else is window dressing. Ill reserve judgement until then. An early departure in the tourney is inexcusable.

At some point you have to bring home hardware with all these great teams.
We’ve won the regular season and conference tournament under TV. Are you talking national title? I guess that should be easy.

Hey now!…those shell crackers are fun catching and get huge compared to what people think the size of a blue gill actually gets..makes a really nice meal as well…I had no idea you could stock a pond with shell crackers..I’ll have to look into that because me and my dad go fishing on the lower end of the Tennessee river every year just to be able and catch them…so that’s cool…

you should be fine though that’s plenty of food resources for what you have may,not be enough bass honestly but definitely give time and see..should be some nice ones come out of there though..I’m excited for you and your son..just sucks that waiting is part of it ya know🥹😅😂😂

it’s also called “birdshot” for a reason 👀 😂😂 flip the switch on em and F***ing geese dude I can not stress that enough 😂😂
