I hear ya, the older I get the more of a chore cleaning becomes. But I love no other fish like Crappie. I caught a real nice cat last night about 15", two beautiful fillets. There ya go. Nothing wrong with bluegill.
Real talk. Fortunate to grow up on water, guess got bluegill burnout. I'm sure they're great to eat. But, much like Pompano, Whiting, and Croakers. Do you want to spend 45-60 minutes cleaning 30 fish, for a riblet meal?
Again to each his own, really. I'm not hating, just my personal philosophy.
Man, a little honey or syrup on those salmon patties would have made them excellent. We were poor too. You learn to make silk purses out of salmon rears.I have trouble eating salmon now because of canned salmon patties. I understand the reasoning of a single working Mother and the fact that 79 cents a can and could feed the two of us. If it wouldn’t have disappointed my Mother, I would have gone without. But she constantly blamed herself for getting out of a horrible marriage so no way would I have skipped the salmon patties…
Cooked some sardines last night and wrapped them in naan bread with olive oil, pepper, and a little salt. Delightful.Dang it, I knew I should’ve put that in blue font for those of you can’t understand sarcasm.
I like fish if it’s cooked right and not that minced crap that none of us even understand what it’s even made of and we don’t even want to know. Sorta like chicken nuggets. I know what they’re made of and there’s not a dang one of you that wants to know.![]()
I would bet there is more to that story. I can almost guarantee that there was stuff going on previous and he was warned. The crowd reaction tells that. Why is it necessary to post stuff to social media every time wind is broken?
I'm sure the kid said something that only the Ump heard. Either way, its middle school ball. A warning would suffice.
