I have trouble eating salmon now because of canned salmon patties. I understand the reasoning of a single working Mother and the fact that 79 cents a can and could feed the two of us. If it wouldn’t have disappointed my Mother, I would have gone without. But she constantly blamed herself for getting out of a horrible marriage so no way would I have skipped the salmon patties…

Don't know why but any time mine made salmon patties she also made sauerkraut. Weird combo and will never eat either one again willingly

I'd 'invest' in a small lake property on Watauga, build firepit, grade it. Put an RV on it. Pay house off...

Really though. . . 600k. . . i'd buy a decent used truck. . . cant think of much else I want, so I'd probably just spend the rest building a prototype of a time machine described by Madman Marcum.
