So, what we suspected? He threw himself on a marked courtesy vehicle that was doing what it was told to do, with his uniformed covered, and filed a report that Scottie feloniously assaulted an officer of the law with the car? Seems like that officer deserves to be fired, and I wonder if this episode ruins his chances as a career officer? I mean, to be a police officer you have to be able to testify things in court. What happens to his credibility if his police report is read alongside this video for every case he's called to testify in going forward?

I don't think he has a silver of a chance to be a cop anytime soon. (They should fire him, and blacklist him)

What people should be doing is FOIA requesting all his body cam footage for the past 50 years and see how many people's lives he's screwed up. My bet is that he's treated a lot of us way worse. It just took a famous person to get a light shined on it.

Wait. What? I looked and am only seeing that he received a reprimand for not using his bodycam.
Looks like he's also received reprimands for doing donuts in a business parking lot with an intoxicated passenger in his police car. Sounds like a real super trooper.

Looks like he's also been reprimanded for ignoring protocol to initiate a car chase after someone who had not committed crimes enough to warrant the chase, and also not clearing the chase with superiors.

Things like this happen everyday. You're right if Scottie wasn't a Athlete or public figure, this would be swept under the rug.

Actually, wasn’t just fans.

And was never saying they were planning to lose. Just that they were not planning to do everything possible to win. Think of it as scrimmaging.

I don’t think the plan is to “not win” as much as it is they aren’t going to expend themselves and pull out all the stops when they have a much higher goal still in play that is not dependent on the outcome of this tourney.
