Yep, not sure what's going on ... some fans that traveled to watch the candy game spoke out as disappointed that they traveled and spent the money only to see us seemingly take that game as a scrimmage... and then we go and "try" yesterday with TAMU and win... Wonder what the plan is here?
I think the plan was to rest but then Volnation lost it’s mind.

I’m not gonna click the link to the video because I don’t want to give these potato heads any more traffic.

I’ve mentioned how I’ve listened to these guys when I was craving my Vols fix while driving or doing home projects. But this is where I click “stop recommending channel”

I didn’t listen to this segment because I refuse to intentionally listen to stupid.

Didn't watch he game, was the pitcher a submarine style pitcher?
Yes. A Miss State reliever named Schuelke (#558). For added fun, their starter Cijntje was ambidextrous. We won't get either of those guys today, of course.

Ole 66 said in the baseball forum last night that it should be to our advantage to play Miss State today because Vandy knows Drew Beam better.

Some other notable features:

- Dixieland Delight will play automatically after every home victory for Tennessee over Alabama.

- Players that lead Kentucky to a national title in Dynasty Mode will receive a QR code to claim a coupon for 2x Fuel Points at participating Kroger stores.

- The Dynasty Mode offseason schedule for Georgia will include a kart-racer style mini-game.

- When playing as Michigan, the opposing team’s play selections will be displayed before you select your own plays.
Underrated post

Can you quit commenting about bourbon, and give us some juicy nugs on recruiting, or how we are winning it all this year?? Yeesh! 😎
Sorry buddy, haven’t been around cruitin in a lil bit.

Was kinda told, in not so many words, to keep some stuff hush hush, if you catch my drift.

So I’ve just been checking in with all you guys lately.

This is likely not sensitive, but if it is, it is. Someone said yesterday that Emmanuel Okoye was moving to DL and Chandavian Bradley is going to get a look at TE. Any truth to that?

A great outcome of the settlement:

The settlement-related model is expected to have a new enforcement arm and governance structure for, at least, the power conference schools, allowing them to create and enforce their own rules. Finalization around those details may be months away.

For administrators, the enforcement situation is a key piece. The settlement does not eliminate booster-led collectives, but incentivizes schools to bring them within the university’s athletic department, mostly through a stronger enforcement entity — one that potentially operates outside of the NCAA and gains teeth through the settlement itself.

If this wasn't the case, I think the NCAA would continue to target Tennessee and be quite vindictive about it. Retaliation should not be possible under the new model.
Oh, they absolutely would be vindictive as all hell. They already have been. Basically they never left after the old Cornbread investigation. Just kept digging. And even went so far as to make specific rules for use against us and applied them retroactively.

Can you tell me more about why you think the new arrangement would solve that problem?

The NCAA's tyranny reestablished has been my primary concern about this. I'm afraid we may look back on these allegedly "wild west" years (I call them "freedom') as the golden age. I don't understand why you say
Retaliation should not be possible under the new model.
But also
a stronger enforcement entity

Is it because the power conferences could separate in football? The big favorites have continually cheated with impunity while directing the NCAA against their rivals. It's sickening, and they are primarily to blame. But I have also long suspected that the smaller schools and also womens athletics representatives are major problems because their hugely overweight numbers in NCAA positions. It seems that they cow tow to the big NCAA favorites because they see them as cash cows, and also afraid of them, but also are full of resentment and love to "punish" or "attack" other big schools like us that the favorites are happy to see singled out for attack. The smaller schools' big interests are the basketball and baseball tournaments which they participate in, and they are huge moneymakers for those schools. That's one reason that one of those tournaments has expanded yet again to 68 and the other is at 64.

What crooked enforcement requires above all are caps. And pushing as much as possible out of the free market and into the schools' dominion.
