Haven’t seen it mentioned but BTO in bball forum mentioned that Lanier committing could be a strong possibility today. He said no known choice had been made but he felt good about where we stand to land him. It’s definitely something to keep watch for.

Lady Vols doubles Cabezas/Tomase will play #1 Broadus/Tjen (Pepperdine) at 3:30pm ET today. Should be able to stream on ESPN app.

The other semifinal is Georgia vs Vanderbilt.

Lady Vols softball plays Game 1 of Supers against Bama at 4pm ET.

And of course BaseVols against Miss State after UK vs SCar which starts at 3pm ET.

I’ve mentioned how I’ve listened to these guys when I was craving my Vols fix while driving or doing home projects. But this is where I click “stop recommending channel”

@LA Vol please forget about and ignore whoever it was who wanted to run you off (as we ignored him), and give us a hand here. What can you tell us about what impact the NCAA reforms or fortifications (I can't tell which we're dealing with here) will have on our relation with the NCAA and our rising power? Is there any prospect that we can be treated justly going forward?

It also seems that bringing back a strengthened NCAA is a disaster unless something is going to change. And it seems to me that two things NCAA tyranny requires are (1) caps (so that they can ignore their pets exceeding the limits, while going after pets' rivals). And (2) seizing control of presently free-market NIL by rerouting NIL through the schools (which would enable them to reassert their unfettered power for the purpose of playing "friends and enemies."

The last part of your quote can be answered now…until congress gives antitrust provision to the NCAA they have no authority over private businesses like Spyre etc , and they say as much in the articles…
