I know it's not baseball..but since it pretty much the same game..the same thing I always say applies to this fickle sport..

That's just baseball...things happen sometimes that don't make sense, like a good hitting team going o'fer with the bases loaded over two games..

If we played that team 100 times...we would beat them 70% of the time.

Underperforming? He was in the CWS 2 seasons ago. And 2 years before that (the one year in between that time was the Covid year). Guy has one off year during regular season and he was under fire? Sounds like fans being stupid.

My FIL's brother raised two orphaned fawns near Athens. He's a big hunter and tough as nails, but loved those deer. They would come running when he got home and come into the house. Devastated him when they passed.
