So you never watched Gallagher when you were younger?

One of my sons is teaching my nephew to play guitar. He seems to be picking it up rather quickly, but he has no interest in learning to read music or spend time drilling the basics.
It's only rock n' roll and it's good enough for country and the girls I date. Let him roll with it.

Yes. A good ripe tomato kicks watermelon's ***. Heck a mediocre tomato kicks watermelon's ***.
America went downhill when corporate suits traded flavor for shelf-life.

Heirloom watermelons and tomatoes are delicious. Most cannot fathom the flavors and textures achieved from the tomatoes our grandparents grew. Could eat those mfers like they were the sweetest apples you ever had.

I think it’s safe to say this staff will never get a top 5 class. Or if they do it’ll be because Ohio state, Georgia, Texas or Bama are down or something. This staff isn’t a Urban Meyer/Mack Brown/ Kirby Smart/ Nick Saban type of unrelenting recruiting mindset and operation
So expecting a top 5 class from the staff is highly unlikely
They’ll always be 10-15 range and that’s that. Will it be enough? We’ll see. As the years go by if they can’t break through, something will happen
It'll be more of a Clemson rise imo. These classes with this coaching will get us to tge playoffs sooner than later. With the right guy at QB and lucky bounces, we will go far in the playoffs a few times. So I think a Top 5 class is 5-ish years out if it happens.

But I agree with you I don't see this current staff as relentless as them, but I think the way they're recruiting is enough

Heck, I grow them now.

This staff kind of reminds me of James Franklin and Penn St., very solid recruiting but not elite. Franklin and Penn St. have been anywhere between #6 and #21 on 247 since 2016. Some of those classes have been really solid. Hope Tennessee can make more noise when it comes to the playoffs than Penn St. has.
