Don't know the data here that backs up the graphic. But it does conform with information I received in school (Psychology) and elsewhere. Part of it is the old Maslow hierarchy. If you don't have enough money to cover your basic needs, you are stuck there. And, common sense applies. Once you are set on food, housing, etc., happiness increases. As for slight decreases when you have oodles of money, I could only speculate. More money, more pressures? What's the definition of happiness used in this study? How was it measured? Are you trusting people are self aware enough to self report?
I hate graphs like this that act like they've answered an incredibly complex question when they almost certainly haven't.
200k in house hold income goes well beyond basic Maslow needs lol.Don't know the data here that backs up the graphic. Sorry for pointing out a...fact? The 2 are based on different parameters...just stating a fact. You seem to enjoy falling all over yourself to defend a lot of opinions not popular here.
I always remember this from Before Sunrise.More money definitely equates with more happiness up to a certain point. At that point, even if you have significantly more money, your happiness level doesn't increase. It even decreases at VERY high levels of income.

I don't like Texas and OU in the SEC but A&M and Mizzou are still even worse. A&M is like if Scientology created a university and started playing football. Just weird creepy cult stuff.Gosh I cringe every time I see them. It's so gross. I wish I knew some atm fans to see if even they can't watch it.
