I still don’t think we have come close to seeing the offense at its best. We looked better last night, but still looked disjointed a lot. I guess the way Hendon ran it spoiled me. I hate how we slowed it down so much when we got in the red zone. I felt it really messed up our rhythm and gave them a chance to catch their breath.

Georgia can lose at home to Kentucky next week. They let up 219 rushing against a one dimensional trash Auburn team. That defense is no longer invincible.

But you have to have an effective running QB. UK doesn’t have that…unfortunately neither do we.

On the Vols' defense
“They took [Legette] away the whole game. Other than some mesh routes, they were clouding him the whole time, pushing the safety over top so he couldn’t do much. They took him away, and it definitely hurt us. I have to be better finding other guys...”

“They were in good coverage a lot of the time. Their D-line is really talented, twitchy guys, and they had a good scheme.”

On sacks and hurries
“You try to avoid that every game. Credit to them, they did a good job up front and in coverage. A lot of the time, those sacks were just coverage sacks with nothing there. I’m just trying to extend the play. Those are good players up front and made good plays.”

I really don't like playing SC, so good riddance if we don't play them again for awhile. Seems like there is some major injury every time we play--whether our side or theirs. That said, Beamer didn't bother me as much this time. Maybe because we were winning and he was in a hostile environment.
