I really don't like playing SC, so good riddance if we don't play them again for awhile. Seems like there is some major injury every time we play--whether our side or theirs. That said, Beamer didn't bother me as much this time. Maybe because we were winning and he was in a hostile environment.

I like that we’ve totally smoked them three straight times in Neyland - by an oddly similar score each time.

Just need to carry that to Columbia next time

This idea that they or someone is pushing that they are a historical rival of ours is dumb. I don't know anyone who even wants them in the league.
Exactly I think out three permanent rivals on schedule should be Vanderbilt, Kentucky and of course the traditional battle with Alabama.....

When is the last time Tennessee won at least four of its first five games in back-to-back seasons?

Has to be 20 years or so?

We need to really enjoy what we are watching. It’s been a minute since Tennessee has been even this good and consistent.
Yes I say same thing about those who complain about the Men's basketball team with CRB .....

Yeah, and it's going to rob us and the conference of an actual rivalry game with either Kentucky or Vanderbilt. No one cares about South Carolina.

One can't legitimately say a team you rarely played until the SEC temporarily split into the league into divisions (for the purpose of shielding Bama from Spurrier) is historical. It was a mere short-term product of the now abandoned division scheme.

Rival games were all settled, then "special privilege" Nickie called Sankey, whining.

What a tool:

About the harsh chants he heard from the crowd in Neyland Stadium, Rattler said, “If you ain’t got haters, you ain’t popping,” and then added later, “It’s like their Super Bowl tonight, so congrats to them.”
That is so weak attempt of an insult. That's all you got? lol USCe wasn't even field rushing worthy.

They want us to be their rival so bad because historically, they are trash and they think being rivals with a big boy means they, by extension are a big boy. They are the worst in the conference for their expectations not matching their historical relevance.

Literally nobody cares about South Carolina. Certainly not enough to kill off a 100+ year rivalry game.

Was it McDonald that had the Interception on 4th down go through his hands?

They ended up kicking a FG on that drive.

This could have been a much more lopsided victory.

That stop. The punt return. The safety. The INT Joe threw at the 2.
Technically the interception at the 2 led to what should’ve been a safety and the possible punt return for a TD. In the end, we took an additional 5 minutes off the clock and kicked a FG to go up three scores. Things work themselves out when the defense is playing great.

Our super bowl is against a 2-3 poverty program team? Beyond laughable. Dude has never had any class.
