To be honest, Tennessee is usually one of the friendlier environments to visiting fans.. at least from watching interactions when im in Knoxville compared to away games I’ve been to. we don’t really bother away fans before or after games.
Ugh……hum?

You ain't me...I hate disappointment with the heat of a thousand sun's....and I always acknowledge that there is hope for a positive outcome....well now, not during the dark days when you knew you were gonna give up the booty to every decent team on the schedule.
Some people would call that just being a coward.

Being overly optimistic is naive. Not ideal. But it's better than being a pessimist, which is just cowardly.

As do their fans. Convinced that there’s a conspiracy against them.

Sounds familiar
You're smarter than that, Marco.

The fact that Bama notoriously has gotten game-altering favorable (even ridiculous) calls and no-calls for as long as anyone can remember doesn't change because Saban and Bama fans also lie about it. 😂

There is evidence in the calls and contexts that we get robbed. There is no evidence that Bama or GA does. To the contrary.

Dang @Weezer .

What the he!! you doing?
That is clearly a South Carolina fan, and I am not a South Carolina fan. Just because you make poor life choices and cheer for dirty teams like Austin Peay and the Yankees, don't try to pawn that off on me. I am a Tennessee Vol, thru and thru. While there may be a resemblance with his silver hair, the fact he's not covered in hair and the fact he's not in Tennessee orange clearly demonstrate that is NOT me.

Wow. That was like watching an episode of Bill Dance. It looked like an awesome day.

You even had outtakes like Bill does on his show..... @SoilVol - drops very expensive fish gripper in the water while releasing a 30+lb catfish. Your friend "Those bogas are $300, BTW". @SoilVol - blames the fish but retrieves the bogas-. Your friend "thanks Jeff for the float or those would have been gone". 🤣

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing
*gets whacked in the nuts twice by catfish*
*broke a rod*
*almost broke Marc's phone*
*lost his anchor (not my fault his knot failed)*
*multiple hook pokes*
*catfish chomping down on fingers*
*Overturned the key on his motor like a moran*

Probably a bunch of dumb stuff I'm not remembering but at least I didn't cut myself again 🤣 I was running on 2.5hrs of sleep.

In my defense on the bogas, they'd gone through the fish's skin and jaw and locked up so it wouldn't spin. So when the fish spun it came out of my hand. The bouy and bungee cord was a brilliant addition 🤣

Yeah but some are worse than others. LSU and South Carolina have been my worst experiences on the road. Oddly enough georgia wasn’t nearly as bad as their reputation makes them out to be. I was treated fine there for the most part, no barking or anything lol. But that was in 2014 and we were pretty bad. Final was 35-32 UGA though
I was also at the 2014 UGA game and it wasn't bad. There was one drunk hick that started yelling at us unprovoked during the game. UGA fans finally got security to escort him out. I expected more hostility.

LSU was the most annoying. I went as a Miss State fan (with a Vols hat) and there were white trash grown men and 10yr old children yelling "TIGER BAIT" way too close to our faces.

Kentucky wasn't bad. We got invited to a tailgate tent while walking by but then they started some cousin humping TN jokes and we could tell there were some genuinely annoyed but biting their tongues at us being there. But we walked through "The Fort" area off campus and didn't get heckled at all by the house parties.

Vandy was absolutely nothing, and that was the 2016 game we lost. Even after the game outside their locker room, in full orange, no Vandy parents said anything to me (had a friend playing for Vandy at the time). Even made eye contact and brushed past Derek Mason and he gave me a perplexed look but said nothing.

I've heard Miss State is a good away game experience unless you're an Ole Miss fan. I hung out at the tailgates before games and never saw any rudeness towards opposing fans, but I know they also consider LSU fans the most obnoxious.
