Our students and some drunks are a little bit rough, but that’s the case for all teams
Yeah but some are worse than others. LSU and South Carolina have been my worst experiences on the road. Oddly enough georgia wasn’t nearly as bad as their reputation makes them out to be. I was treated fine there for the most part, no barking or anything lol. But that was in 2014 and we were pretty bad. Final was 35-32 UGA though

I'm gonna feel like sh*t either way if we lose. I'd rather not spend a week being bummed out about it before we play.

I know there is always a possibility of losing, otherwise we wouldn't play. I have just always expected to win, instead of expecting to lose.
You ain't me...I hate disappointment with the heat of a thousand sun's....and I always acknowledge that there is hope for a positive outcome....well now, not during the dark days when you knew you were gonna give up the booty to every decent team on the schedule.

I think 2011 after Bray got hurt, even more so after the Kentucky debacle… and then 2017 to 2019 were the most checked out I’ve ever been during that period.

I didn’t watch many games during the 18 season and I almost never missed games in my life up until that point

I don't. UGA ain't BAMA. No way. I will be disappointed if we give UGA that honor.
IF they keep winning they'll be the number 1 team and it could be for Atlanta. I say they rush the field in that case. Georgia isn't Bama but if we're the first to beat them and derail their threepeat then yeah I think it's worthy.

@TN-POSSUM ask and yee shall receive

Wow. That was like watching an episode of Bill Dance. It looked like an awesome day.

You even had outtakes like Bill does on his show..... @SoilVol - drops very expensive fish gripper in the water while releasing a 30+lb catfish. Your friend "Those bogas are $300, BTW". @SoilVol - blames the fish but retrieves the bogas-. Your friend "thanks Jeff for the float or those would have been gone". 🤣

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing

It was the best worst of times, it was the worst of times.

I have to say, winning then seemed like a fantasy. I just wanted to see some sort of improvement or just be competitive before we got smoked. Hate that era.

But yeah, we're allowed to be different. I just wont be disappointed by something that may or may not happen. I like to look for the ways we could win and see if the coaches come up with something similar. . . or figure out another way to win. I'm usually aware of the ways and reasons we could lose. The negativity for a week before we play is just not worth it when I don't have to feel that way. If we lose, i'll feel the same way regardless of how I felt the week before, positive or negative.

Negativity like that, to me, turns into a constant cycle, week after week, and ends up feeling like I'm living in a tragedy . it's better for me to see the positivity and appreciate the success, instead of being in a constant state of doom and gloom. . . then only being happy for a day or so after the wins and going right back into the same negative feelings for the next week. Losses feel a lot worse, for a lot longer that way, imo.

It’s easier to expect to win now that Heupel has things rollin’..big change from his predecessors when we expected to lose a lot.

I didn't expect to win then. I dreamed of winning. . . I just expected to see some sort of improvement or being competitive a little. Rough times.

So I leave for a day to play a little golf after a great win and beat down of the gamecocks and you guys fool around let the AP screw us over by dropping the Vols in the polls?

Beautiful fall, east Tennessee day.

South Carolina’s board is pretty typical. Hand wringing and pissed off, with the Super Bowl comments and all it’s pretty boring.

However, they are VERY salty about losing James Pearce to us now. There are several talking about how big of a blow him flipping to us was and how it was a major impact in the game last night. Some even believe it could’ve been the difference in a W or L, but that’s just wishful thinking. It was a 21 point game, not a 7 point game.
