Don't think I can trust someone that knows so much about The Devil's Pet...Technically speaking, every corn snake is a rat snake, but not every rat is a corn. The "corn" snake we know of is the red ratsnake (Pantherophis guttatus). If this were a juvenile corn it would have some slight orange airbrushed down it's back and the pattern from the neck to the head would be an oval with a keyhole. The grey ratsnake makes the "Y" pattern instead.
