He was decent as a Brave when he left via Free Agency and had injury issues is when his career had a downturn.

Heyward was giving a chance by Dodgers due to his great friend Freddie Freeman asking management to give Jason a look last season and he has done well in the games he has played.
He's done slightly better there than in previous years, but not much better. That's probably just from being surrounded by a lot better players than he ever has been. He was probably overhyped, maybe that hurt his mental game?
